I wrote before asking why there are so many guys pictured who seemed to start off bearish only to become more bearish; they weren't twinks. Lately I've been wondering "Where the bear line?" At what point did guys decide to become more bearish? Was it a certain age, a life stage, or simply throwing in the towel and depilatories and saying, "Enough - I'm a man; not a boy?"

Good question! There may be several reasons. One is the realization that constant dieting and looksmaxxing are unhealthy and unnatural. Another is that as you age, your metabolism indeed slows down, and priorities also change. Increased self-acceptance? For some it comes early, and for some, it comes late.
