Night Out || Chorong & Ai

It had been months since Ai had gone out to an club, but her friend was eager to go and really, Ai didn't have much to lose. She wouldn't have to worry about being hit on, because who was likely to hit on a very pregnant woman? No one. Drinking wasn't that alluring to her either, and she wasn't much of a dancer. If anything, she could go just for the experience and watch over her friend. Every group needed a designated driver, after all. Not that Ai could drive, since she didn't know how, but she could at least be the one to watch over drinks and keep the creeps away.
After meeting her friend at her house, they spent about an hour getting ready, silly bickering passing back and forth. "Zip me up!", Ai whined, pressing her hands against her large stomach, only to have Chorong quip at her, "I can't! You're too pregnant!" Normally it would have made Ai laugh, but this time it caused a sigh of frustration as she gave up on the dress and switched into jeans and flowing black shirt that would offer room for her to move as well as not stick to her skin, so she wouldn't become over heated.
It was a very lax outfit for the club, but Ai had no one to impress and she still looked nice enough, in her opinion at least. Chorong on the other hand looked amazing, and Ai was certain that her friend would have at least one or two men come up to her throughout the night. She'd have to keep a close eye on them. After an hour of preparing, Ai was ready for a nap, and Chorong was ready to go out. It seemed like every few minutes, the other girl was asking Ai how she had managed to get them in to the exclusive club. Now, Ai liked Chorong, and it wasn't as if Ai was some kind of underground dirty person, but she did have a past and connections that she didn't feel comfortable sharing with the other. So each time she was asked, Ai simply brushed it off with a shrug and a smile, distracting her friend with rumors she'd heard about others or compliments. The ride over on the bus felt as if it took forever, and when they finally arrived, it was almost a relief. Almost. Ushering her friend through the line, they stepped in, strobe lights pulsing around the room and music blowing throughout so loudly that it could be heard from the outside. They were finally in.
