when i introduce myself to you, and tell you my name, you say "how can i believe such a thing?" for this name has never once belonged to me- it belongs elsewhere, in another world of fantasy and adventure and posters, billboards, stages and screens, a faraway land that i'll never truly know. and yet, here we are. here i am, introducing myself with a name that i've stolen from a storybook. and here you are, seeing right through me. seeing me only as an actor, a liar rather than a boy who is so terribly lost, clinging onto the only name that i can recognize as my own.
