we’re revamping our gossip blog and want to set some ground rules as we move forward. this blog is all about having fun, stirring up drama, and stirring a little chaos. we encourage everyone to keep the submissions coming—we love the juicy tidbits and the excitement they bring! however, it’s important to remember that while we’re here for the drama, we’re not here to cross the line into bullying.
in the past, these kinds of blogs have been used as a platform for anonymous bashing, with some submissions crossing into territory that’s just plain mean. you wouldn’t believe how many things we have to delete daily because they verge on hurtful rather than playful. not only that but crossing towards ooc. it doesn’t mean that’s the intent, but since it’s been done that way so long it’s what people are used to. while other groups will and continue to allow that, we will not.
our goal is to keep this blog fun, engaging, and above all, ic. we’re committed to maintaining a balance, ensuring that no one person or situation is unfairly targeted or constantly put under the spotlight. while we know that being featured in gossip can be entertaining, it doesn’t mean anyone wants to be the constant focus of harsh judgment.
we’re all here to have a good time, so let’s make sure we’re creating chaos in a way that everyone can enjoy! if there is ever a situation your character is in that you’ve had enough of the drama with or just don’t want to be involved, let us know.
we’ll have an open submission post later, but feel free to start coming to the inbox with things throughout the day. we’re going to start having gossip weekly, at least once. we can only post what we are given so make sure you’re submitting!!
