It's almost my birthday which means I've been in a constant state of introspection. Thoughts of how I've almost made it into a whole 'nother year of living while some people I've loved never got this far. It's both motivating and debilitating. These last couple of years have been a huge shift in ways of thinking and growing. I was a much different person in 2019 and I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that. I've lost a lot. From friends, to money, to the need to self deprecate. I've still got my flaws. But I've gained more confidence in myself than ever. Although some dark thoughts of harming myself reared its head for a moment I was able to pull through because of the people who love me. I wasn't open about that stuff to many but whether you knew or not; if you sent love my way it helped me immensely. Thank you all. I am grateful to be alive. One time I went to a thrift store and found this piano tie. Weeks later a went to a thrift store and found another piano tie. Somehow forgot that I had already bought the first one, I bought the second one. Still trying to figure out the best type of poses to do with these outfit photos but what’s awesome about @aloverdrive is when we do our daily 30 second shoots, he tells me to be myself and that’s all I need to feel less insecure. Although if y’all have any pose ideas, slide in them DMs and give me examples. 🤓 Also this is the only hoodie I own that came with the sleeves already gone which I thought was such a great concept that I have since cut off the sleeves of some of my other hoodies since acquiring this one some years back on Warped Tour (where at least a third of my wardrobe is from). Whenever people compliment this bicycle shirt I tell them I got it at the boys section in Old Navy. It holds a special memory as that Old Navy was in Salt Lake City, UT where I spent a good chunk of time with @dre.dayli back in 2013. She kidnapped me in Cali and we road tripped around Utah where she grew up. We must have been there for close to a month causing all sorts of mischief. Still one of my favourite adventures to date.
