Catching Up || Ansel & Madison

Ansel was looking forward to spending some time catching up with Madison following their plans to meet up for burgers. Since Adele’s housewarming party they’d really started to cultivate a closer friendship where they could talk to each other about what was going on in their lives, namely their romantic lives, and he liked that it was always give and take and never just one person venting at the other while they listened. So many friendships in Hollywood to him just felt so surface level, but hers felt genuine, she never came off to him like she was just pretending- or worse, that they were only friends so they could gain by been seen with one another, as he’d felt with a number of people in the past.

He was a few minutes early from the time they agreed to meet at Johnny Rocket’s but that was because he’d been taught that it was always better to be eager an early than to be rude and late. When he saw her walking up he smiled, telling the hostess (who’d already recognized him but wasn’t making a thing of it) that it would be for two. “Hey!” He greeted her, opening his arms for a hug.

Madison was grateful to have made more good friends in the past year, for a while it had felt like most of her friendships were the kind where they’d only seemed to be friends to gain from one another and not to actually be friends because they cared about one another. The past year had been good to her though, she’d met Cindy and the rest of their friend group and Ansel, all people who had quickly become some of her best friends. It was nice having someone to talk to that you could trust wouldn’t go out and spread your business everywhere else, she knew she could trust Ansel with whatever she told him.

She wore a white tank top and a pair of jean shorts with a white hoodie wrapped around her waist, something she could be comfortable in out and about. She gave him a huge grin when she saw him, giving him a tight hug. “Hey!” she said taking the seat across from her. “I’m starving!” she giggled. “This was a great suggestion! I haven’t been here in forever.”

cindy smiled big at the brunette’s words, “oh im sure you will! you’ve already so far,” she says with a shrug sweetly. she nods rapidly, “yes please. i’d like that a lot.” She was beyond happy that they were on the same page mentally and she couldn’t wait to see what was to come. “Same… imagine our cuddle night ins from now on?” she asked giggling.

“well i’m glad!” she grinned, giving the other a soft kiss on the forehead. “i want nothing more than to just make you feel as happy and cared about as possible! i’d like it too!” she said happily, her stomach still fluttering with butterflies just being with the other in this capacity. “oh they’re gonna even better i think!” she giggled. “i was hoping you could totally come back and stay with me tonight, if you want?”

cindy can’t help but grin wider but shuts her eyes as their lips meet again, “all of the above please?” she asks then kisses the girl, getting more confidence thanks to the liquid courage, deepening the kiss and bringing their bodies closer again. bare chests pressed against the others. she wasn’t sure if this was just going to be a one night thing because they had been drinking but she hoped it was more. she really did like madison. sure, she had a thing for noah too, but he wasn’t here right now was he? and she had finally made it to kissing level with madison!

she kissed the other back deeply, growing more and more confident herself as they continued to kiss. “i think i can manage all of the above, only ‘cause you deserve the absolute best cuddles, kisses and dates. i just hope i can provide one’s that are good enough for you.” she teased, body reacting to being so close to the other. “that means this is gonna happen again right?” she asked softly, hand rising to brush fingertips gently over the others cheek. “cause honestly i’m totally addicted to these kisses now and don’t think i could manage not getting anymore.”

Strictly on the DL.” He joked, slowly pulling back but still keeping his arms part of the way around her in a warm embrace. “I’m glad it was so amazing for you though, to me that’s what really matters, even if I missed out on quality birthday girl time.” He nodded in understanding, still wearing a rather goofy smile, but honestly that was just his face. “And to think! Next year you’ll be 21, old enough to legally drink. Not that that means anything in this town. Speaking of which… you got anything?” He thought to ask, figuring it might be fun for them to do a little belated celebrating together.

“You’re totally making me want to see this now, I hope you know that. I promise I won’t tell just as long as I get an up close seat to one of these cute cries---just y’know a fake cry, not a real one.” she teased, her own arms still on his shoulders, looking up at him. “Next year I’ll be sure to have you and Cindy both right by my side the whole time! Honestly that’s how I wish it was this year.” she admitted. “Oh yes---old enough to drink! I totally haven’t been doing that forever.” she replied with a giggle. “Did I got anything? Why would I!?” she giggled. “This is your house dork! Where would I even carry it?”

“i’m glad my cuddles are up to par then because you only deserve the absolute best cuddles in your life.” she grinned, arms moving to wrap around the others neck, even in the darkness still able to make out the others beautiful eyes. “i’m always up for being bugged by you!” she replied, moving in even closer to the other before pressing another kiss to her lips. “i can totally manage more kisses and a date, its the least i can do.”

“the best payment obviously.” she grinned running her fingers along the others sides. “like i said its totally super adorable so don’t ever stop! i’m pretty sure you blushing is in like my top 3 favorite things, right behind your smile and cuddling.” she giggled at the others worse, brushing her nose against the others playfully. “yeah but i like giving you things too! its fair that way!”

“Definitely don’t want that. Girls crying kills me every time, makes me want to start crying just out of empathy, and I don’t think you want that.” Noah joked with Madison the moment he opened up the door to his LA apartment to let her inside, also opening up his arms to bring her in for a big hug. “Your birthday party was the best I’ve been to, probably ever- and yet we didn’t get to hang out nearly enough for my liking.” He said playfully, resting his chin on the top of her head for a moment given their height difference before pulling back, “So, how’s it feel? cindy let out a giggle and hid her face for a second before looking back at the girl, “stop it,” she stayed close and touched her forehead to madison’s. “me too… “ she said in a low tone. she felt like a teenager with a crush right now. “let’s call that my second birthday present,” she joked, her hand on the girls waist moving slowly to the small of her back beneath the water.

“i like complimenting you though, you already know this!” she said softly, looking into the others eyes. “you’re adorable when you get all shy, i freakin’ love it.” she teased, hands going to others sides and giving them a playful squeeze. “gosh, that means you’ve given me the absolute two best presents i’ve had so far then.” she said before leaning in and pecking the other on the lips again. “i feel like i totally owe you now though, you’ve already given so much this weekend, I feel like its my duty to return it in some way.”

Madison gave a lazy knock on the others door, chewing on a piece of gum. The two had been trying to get together again for weeks but hadn’t had the chance, both of them being too busy. She’d made sure to clear time on her schedule this time though, wanting to hang out with him again. “Hurry up Noah!” she called out to him.”Otherwise you’re gonna make me cry and I don’t think you want a crying girl at your doorstep.” she called out playfully.

cindy was nervous again but a good nervous. it felt like she was about to have her first kiss and in a way, it sort of was, i mean, with a girl of course. the space between them closing and cindy’s eyes shut as their lips finally met. one hand moved under water and to the female’s hip, glad that she didn’t subconsciously measure wrong and touch something else on accident. her other hand moved to touch madison’s, the one on her cheek, deepening the kiss a bit more and moving as close as she could. she let out a little giggle though when she felt their naked upper bodies touch but stayed close as she pulled away slightly. “your lips are very soft.”

madison continued to kiss the other deeply, completely melting into one of the best kisses she’d probably ever hard in her life. she pressed herself against the other gently, only caring about the two of them now, not anything else that was going on further down the beach. she gave a soft giggle herself, nodding her head. “so do you!” she said softly. “that was literally like one of the best kisses i’ve ever had.”
