We’re all waiting for the Apple iWatch to come out, and there have been very weird rumor pictures of how it might look, though this is my favorite.
Is it going to come out? YES. How do we know? We have more than enough perfect proof that starts months ago:
1) A few months ago, Nike laid off it’s whole group that worked on Nike Fuelband. The product was discontinued, just like that. But Nike had a reason behind it. They’re known to be close partners with Apple. And if Nike quit Fuelband, it means that something else will come up, a partnership between Nike and Apple that will drown Fuelband, and take over. That’s iWatch. That’s the only logical reason that Fuelband was discontinued.
2) Then, a very recent news arrived. Apple just hired a senior executive from Swiss luxury watch brand Tag Heuer, which could be (obviously) to help it with the launch of its iWatch expected this autumn. Tag Heuer, part of luxury goods group LVMH, said on Friday its vice president for sales, Patrick Pruniaux, who had been with the brand for seven years, was leaving on Monday to join Apple. Of course, why would Apple hire a swiss luxury watch salesmen? iWatch.

Okay guys, I figure this is perfect Tumblr since I know so many innovations gain support here!
I have recently started an internship desigining the ebooks for a start-up called SOMO (School of Music Online).
SOMO is changing the way people learn music by taking it online and making fun and interactive. It also makes a musical education available to kids all over the world and in some of the most rural parts of Australia, allowing them to be officially graded and certified in music in their homes or schools.
SOMO has only launched this week and a free trial for the first level is available. There are songs, videos, games and quizzes all themed specifically for each level!
And wouldn’t you know there are these gorgeous eBooks too! Who designed them you ask? Funny you should mention, that would be me! The eBooks and website levels are beautifully illustrated by 2 super talented Brisbane illustrators, and the site is offered in 4 languages (for now!). The books are only English at the moment, but I promise we have many more coming along in a number of major languages!
If you’re keen to see the beginning of a new era in music education, please at least have a go with the free trial and see what you think!

The Final Use Case Scenario for Adoptable
SO I have a few things that obviously need to be completed today, so here is a list of simple tidying/submission tasks as well as issues to be resolved:
Issues:
For some reason, on my favourites page, the animal profile pictures are showing up even though they are yet to be favourited. I am not...
So I have solved a lot of issues except for two:
The favourites function is working fun but I couldn't get the unfavourite buttons to work even though I just copied the favourite function, changed the name and set it to make the profile false instead of true. Yet for some reason when I open the webpage in Firefox on the macs here in Z2, the favourites icons do not show up, and the same is occurring with chrome on my laptop, but they work fine in Firefox on my laptop and in safari on Mac and iPhone.
The second issue is that of the space below the grids separating some of the page content from the footer. This is due to the grids but because I have so many grids across pages using the same classes, I can't really change it so that these grids simply disappear, so I am going to see if I can find a sneaky way to move the footer on some of the pages and avoid this issue.
Otherwise I think I'm ready to set up my use case scenario and get this submitted! I did more and more problems crop up today while testing browser compatibility and doing my final checks of mobile, but most of these have been fairly easy to fix!
Another issue I have just identified is this crazy amount of space between the quick search and footer on mobile. It might have something to do with the hidden grids? I'm not too sure just yet how to tackle this.
Submission Day
SO I have a few things that obviously need to be completed today, so here is a list of simple tidying/submission tasks as well as issues to be resolved:
Issues:
For some reason, on my favourites page, the animal profile pictures are showing up even though they are yet to be favourited. I am not sure how much this has to do with my browser so I am getting the current version of my website onto the QUT server now so I can test it (and also as a precaution so I know there is at least a website up there before 5pm)
In my footer I have social media links that work and look great, but because I have taken them from the dev pages for each site, they are floating weirdly so I need to figure out how to position those correctly
For Submission:
To be ready for submission, I need to attribute all my images that I have used. I have sourced them all through Creative Commons so far so its just a matter of finding their respective flickr users.
I need to take screenshots of each page and set up a use case scenario walk-through.
I need to upload a final zip file of my website so my code can be inspected.
I need to create my tumblr page and put the use case scenario walkthrough on there, along with some final comments on how the website changed between assignment 1 and assignment 2.
