Cocorrina: NEW IN PORTFOLIO: GREY + COPPER INVITES was originally published on dev1
#nofilterlandor So here's my coffee cup! Painted in gold acrylic is my recently designed new personal logo (a cute little pineapple) and on the back of the cup are links to my portfolio and blog along with a cheeky little sign off from me. I filmed it with a blue card for background and added some props to communicate the vibe of my new identity I am currently developing. Hope you like 💛#pineapple #caitlinmcg
My final Duck and Cover kinetic typography video.
The True Detective inspired cityscape exercise. i really liked doing this just by blending with masks and using Keylight. Definitely going to be incorporating more of this into my assignment.
Inspiration for Assignment 2A
So I have a number of ideas floating around for my second major assignment but now that I am post-mid-sem-exam I have one idea that is really solidifying and below I've included links to some inspiration that I have found for style.
After having tried all but one of the tute exercises (we are doing compositing in today's lesson), I am interested in doing some kinetic type but rather than doing it in the format that we used for the Duck and Cover project, I would like to do it in the style of the graffiti masking exercise. I want to find quotes about stars and then to animate in the type as well as other images (most of which I will draw) but I'll also try to source some star-related graffiti from Creative Commons. I would like to get some green screen footage of a person, key out the external and then alter the colour so the person appears in that cutout graffiti style, then add that so it looks like moving graffiti. I also want to use a 3D camera to zoom in and out and move around on the wall rather than just have the frame static. Depending on how compositing goes today, I might also see what I can do to composite in stars at some point, perhaps to fade out the end. As for audio, I will try to find a creative commons track that fits with the concept of space and stars.
