Be immersersed in the sound of space tracking at UK Space Command hashtag#RAFFylingdales from the perspective of the North York Moors. Geodesic Sounds made with David de la Haye explores sonic environments created interactions between technology, the natural environment and politics. The project is part of Impact and Engagement, Teesside University Festival Hub for hashtag#BeingHumanFestival2024 and can be experienced at Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art until tomorrow Sunday 17th November.
Amazing to chat with Gary Phillipson @BBC Tees about our event Remembering the Golf Balls at Thornaby Town Council archives on Friday 15th

Fylingdales Archive holds a collection of objects, documents and photographs of RAF Fylingdales dating back to 1959. The principal task of this online resource is to make public the collection of Fylingdales Archive. The collection has been preserved since 1963 by a number of US and UK service personnel based at the station.
This is the holding page for the Fylingdales Archive, which will be a major outcome of an interdiscplinary research project run by Newcastle University called ‘Turning Fylingdales Inside Out: making visible practices at the UK early warning and space monitoring’ funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and in partnership with RAF Fylingdales and English Heritage
The holding page features a Soundcloud link to music I made with producer Chris Tate as the band One Key Magic. We used sound and music to investigate the electronic atmospheres produced by nuclear deterrent and space operations over the North York Moors
