more often than not adam found himself between the sword and the wall when it came to his students. he would like to help them as much as possible but the school had rules. so when mckenna walked in and asked to retake the exam he could only sigh. “at least you have a medical report or something similar there isn’t much i can do.” he shrugged. “but you can do an essay to improve your mark. it was only a partial, if you do well in your final it won’t affect your mark much.” 

“yeah, i’m sure it won’t, but... you know, it’s hard to not be stressed about these kinds of things. it’s so hard to keep up with surf, school, and having a social life. was it easier when you were in college, or are you just impeccably organized?” she asked, smiling as she tried to butter him up a little bit.

maddie had just finished cheering at another game, talking to her cheer friends for a short moment before she started to walk towards her car. she had a long day, maddie never did smoke a lot, but today she felt like she could use one. she pulled one out from the pack, going to get her lighter as she heard someone talking to her. she turned around, not really hearing her clearly the first time. “i’m sorry?”

god, she was even hotter up close. it almost annoyed mckenna how hot she was and she wondered if that was because she was jealous or because she was into her. “oh, i was just gonna light a j in my car... wondered if you were into that sort of thing. not sure how cheerleaders work these days.” she said with a smile, hoping the girl could tell that she was mostly kidding.

mckenna didn’t go to sports games often, since she usually had a surf match, but she was finally making it to a game. she couldn’t keep her eyes off of the cheerleader in the front, but she told herself that she was just watching the game like everyone else. but when she spotted the girl while she was walking back to her car to smoke, she couldn’t help talking to her. “hey, you smoke?” she asked, hoping the girl did so she’d have a chance to talk to her some more. @lustshqs​

mckenna had never been good at math, but she especially wasn’t good when she showed up to every class after her mid-day smoke. she was hoping that she’d skate by, get a decent grade, and call it a day, but after her last grade on a test, she figured going to see her professor couldn’t hurt. she walked into his office, glad the door was open. “hey, just stopping by to tell you i totally wasn’t at my best for that test. i’ll love you forever if you let me retake it.”  @snsualiss
