He let out a short, bursting chuckle as she considered the idea that being in law should be as good as medical. âClearly you have not met strict Japanese parents, that demand their sons to be neurosurgeons.â Hanzo grinned with a shrug, replacing the notepad in his binder until she was ready to give him her drink order. âAlready finished pre, huh? You donât look old enough to be two years into grad school.â He tapped his pencil on his notebook a moment in thought. âWhat got you into med? Everyone has that spark moment, right?â He quickly jotted a roman numeral matching a line in his text, glancing up to her afterward.
âclearly i have not.â she laughed softly, beginning to make her notes for this chapter of the textbook. âwell i am twenty two now so i guess i could be considered quite young for my program. i graduated high school at 16 and iâve been attending university to study medicine since.â  she explained trying to make it as nonchalant as possible so it didnât come off like she was bragging. âmy parents were felid medics for the army and i wanted to be just like them. i just want to help people like they did and the sooner i get to do that, the better.âÂ
lowkey donât shop at bath and body works. they stole a lush product and they are acting like its something new and innovative when lush has had shower jellies for years. they are huge dicks and dont deserve your money.Â
kill the idea that openly caring characters are boring
set on fire the line of thought that dictates that altruism is a bad thing and that selfishness/sassiness is an inherently more appealing and â~intricate~â quality than an affectionate nature
smash and bury the concept of the false equivalency between angst and complexity
kindness and empathy are not synonyms for âblandnessâ and âlack of personalityâ
so not only can i not use icons in my replies but my blog looks awful bc none of the images are working???Â

âAngela?â he repeated, testing the name on his lips a moment before reaching out to offer his hand to shake. âItâs lovely to meet you. They call me Hanzo.â Another small smile tilted at his lips before he cocked his head in the direction of her books. âPre-Med?â He inquired, his gaze lingering on the texts for a moment as he grabbed a small pad of post-it notes, âIâm sure my parents would like a trade.â An awkward chuckle as Hanzo fell into a pattern of jotting down important page numbers. âWould you like that coffee now or later?â
"its nice to meet you hanzo.â the blonde gave him a shy smile as she shook his hand. âiâm actually on my  second year doing my m.d. i already finished the pre  med program.â she corrected him, a slight flush appearing  on her cheeks. she always felt embarrassed talking about her schooling since she was so ahead of most people working towards the same profession as her. âwhat kind of parent wouldnât wanât a lawyer for a son?  thats a pretty good career too.â she began getting settled in, opening up her textbook to the bookmarked page and grabbing her notebook from her bag. âi think iâll wait a little  bit for that coffee if thats alright.â
ryu-no-hakai:
âHanzo hadnât been studying long, luckily, but heâd already spread himself and his hefty law tomes all over the desk top - âOh,â he glanced up to her, a tired and slightly hopeful expression on his face; âIâll grab you a coffee if we could share the table?â His lips twitched into (what he hoped was) a friendly smile, and he gently pulled his books away from the other chair.â
Hanzo hadnât been studying long, luckily, but heâd already the blonde didnât expect him to offer to share the table, let alone offer to buy her coffee as well. normally, the person who took her table would tell her to get lost or to find somewhere else to study. âthank you, that is extremely  sweet of you.â she smiled, setting her three medical  textbooks down on the other side of the table. âiâm  angela by the way. its nice to meet you.â
âum.. excuse meâ the blonde girl spoke softly  as she tapped lightly on the manâs shoulder. âyouâre kind of in my normal study spot.âÂ

I hate it when people confuse canon with popular fanon.
iâm stronger than this. i have to be stronger than this. there is no room for weakness, not here, not anywhere.
