Marcus didn’t truly know Finn, not even during the events of season two but he has enormous respect for Finn sacrificing himself to the grounders. That’s what Marcus would have done, put in that same situation, it’s what he asked Pike to do when he was in that situation but he didn’t do. He would never have forced Finn to surrender but at that point in Marcus’ arc, he was still of the mindset that is what Finn should do. For him to be so young and to actually do it? Really impressive and definitely left him with a positive memory of him. So regardless of how little he knew Finn, he respects his ability to sacrifice himself for others, to do what’s best for their people.

I may be online, I may not be. My grandpa passed away around 2 o'clock last night and this morning we had to put our dog down because she had kidney disease and she was septic. So…. I don’t know how well I’m doing right now and if I have the ability to write.

PSA; It is NOT OKAY to say hateful things about a persons muse. I’m not talking about enemy threads, or your character not liking theirs. I’m not talking about not particularly liking the character yourself. You are are allowed not to like characters. But it is not okay to go into someones ask box and talk about how much you hate that character. This person obviously cares for the character, since ya know, they write them. It’s okay for someones muse not to be a good person, but it’s not okay for you to go on hateful rants about it without tagging the rants with anti (character name) or making a mun feel bad for playing that muse. DONT LET ANYONE MAKE YOU FEEL BAD FOR PLAYING YOUR CHARACTER. And please be mindful of what you say. It’s okay for your character to hate another character. It’s okay for you, the mun, to dislike a character. It’s not okay to make others feel bad for liking that character or writing them

          a plan, that isn’t her’s.    something like hope sparks in her stomach, but there’s not enough there for a fire to light, not enough to make her believe.    because in her experience, hope just leaves you burnt out, tired, and alone.   she tries not to think that way, and most of the time she succeeds, but right now it’s not that simple, it’s just not that simple.    but she has to keep trying, she always has to keep trying.    so she pushes herself up a little, sitting forward as much as she can, and ignoring the pain that radiates through her body.    “ that’s hard to do. ”    her eyes flicker over him, searching for whatever he’s thought of that she hasn’t.    please let there be something, please let this work.    she needs to get them back to the camp, needs to get him back to raven.   that’s the reality she’s working with, now she just has to make this work.   “ what are you thinking ?? ”

swallowing nervously while finally feeling the slightest give in the rope and looking down at it partly so that he can see what he’s doing better and party because he can practically feel her hope leaning against him. letting her down is the worst thing he can imagine. “they probably think i’m dead,” or at least almost dead. “i’ve been unconscious for however many days... what if i pretend?” the question is tentative because he isn’t sure he’s that good of an actor, but he’s willing to try if it gets them out of this hole. looking up his eyes nervous he shrugs, the movement of his head making it ache but that doesn’t matter if he can get them out of here. “you could scream for help, or something. make them come and get me out. or we wait.. and then you ask them.” shrugging as he tries to work at the knots before looking back down at what his hands are trying to accomplish. he isn’t a planner. he’s never been one. he’d only ended up in jail on the ark because he’d acted impulsively and now look at where he is. in a situation that’s more complicated than not. “it’s kind of stupid, i know.”
