Upon pulling himself out of the water, he shook his head like a dog to dry himself off although it wasn’t as affective, so he ended up combing his fingers through his hair to ruffle it afterwards. He always kind of like the wet-haired look, a sign that someone liked having fun and didn’t mind getting wet.
Now that they were on land again, it’d make sense to take a break until the next one. Either that or after their next jump, they can just swim for a little bit. Jongdae could do that too. What would really be good was if there was a place to wakeboard after. He’d always be up for that, but he didn’t see anything of the sort. Hopefully there was a place near.
Whatever energy left over from the jump made his feet restless–bouncing in his steps as he started walking again. It was a ways up back to the top of the cliff, so they had more time to chat and regain their energy. Suddenly the tallest cliff didn’t look as scary, but that’s only looking at it from the bottom. He’s sure that once he’s up there looking down, his thoughts will also change from the perspective.
“It was even better than a roller coaster. But I was thinking, if there’s something else you want to try around here, we could do that too. Thankfully it’s not that cold yet so there’s still a lot of outdoor sports still available. What would be one you’d want to do?”
Hoseok pulled himself out of the water not long after Jongdae did, pushing his hair back with a quick movement of his hand, and when that didn’t prove to be very effective, he resolved to rapidly shaking his head from side to side, spraying water droplets at mostly everything within a two meter radius.
The jump had seemingly left them more energetic than exhausted, and he saw that in both himself and in Jongdae; the way they were walking, talking, the like. He followed in Jongdae’s footsteps, the grin written over his features stretching from ear to ear. If it wasn’t obvious enough already, he was definitely up for a second round.
Actually, he was just about to mention it to Jongdae, tell him that they could try jumping from the peak tallest cliff if he wanted to, too– But he didn’t get a chance to, when Jongdae’s response was far quicker than his own. He hadn’t thought of anything else they’d be doing, besides the cliff diving, so the question caused his eyebrows to rise in momentary confusion.
“Oh, I’m pretty much up for anything. Maybe swimming?”
