We dig into one of comics’ greatest independent success stories in this video interview with Kevin Eastman, co-creator of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, to discuss its legacy & the inspiration that started it all.
I’ve been writing for The Hundreds for a handful of months now, and recently they gave me a shot to do a bucket list level video piece. I got to interview Kevin Eastman, co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. If you’ve followed me for any amount of time then you probably know I’m a BIG Turtles nerd, so doing this interview was a dream come true for me.
Kevin was awesome and accommodating throughout the day, and he gave us incredible info and insight into the world of TMNT. It’s not often that you get to meet people who have shaped your life, inspire your goals, and are just super rad in general. Kevin was definitely one of them. Meeting Kevin was on the same level (maybe one level up) as meeting Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park. 2015 was a stellar year for me, and meeting them were big contributions to the positivity.
Do me a solid and hit the link above to check out the video interview over at thehundreds.com, and share it with any and everyone. This video is a big deal for me, so I appreciate your time!

New video from Rossi Rock - Champagne Holidays
“Kendrick may be responsible for putting TDE on the map, but it was Jay Rock who released the first album, bolstered the label with his Watts-brewed style of gangsta rap and then supported his friends/labelmates with a proud big brother attitude. It took four really long years, but the “TDE OG” is back, off the leash, and ready to make noise again with his sometimes furious, sometimes soulful homage to home, 90059.” -Zach Norris
Zach Norris reviewed Jay Rock’s triumphant sophomore release on none other than Top Dawg Entertainment.
