I was able to get more than satisfactory results in most classes so I can't complain. I'm a little offended you didn't stop by to say hi, Remus, though people say I do look a bit too intense, for lack of a better word, to even be bothered so I understand.

As for a permanent reserve, I think I need a few more hours planted there to secure my spot. Those Ravenclaws put up quite the competition.

Hmm.. I see your point. And that I.. do not know. I guess it’s just going to be one of life’s mysteries. There are certain people I couldn’t imagine frequenting the library, but who knows? People tend to turn over new leaves.. Just.. not often at the same time. As for Quidditch, I don’t think so.. You don’t enjoy the matches?

Without a doubt, it shouldn’t be long now, anyways. Hogwarts is incredible, they’ll get used to it soon. Me? I’ve been just fine. Trying to keep myself busy, as always. And yourself? Hopefully well.

True. The day everybody in Hogwarts lines up at the library to actually do some reading, I might die from surprise. Nope, not really. I've been to around three matches overall in my six years here and, I must say, it does not appeal me the slightest. Why people put themselves in harm's way just to catch a flying object and shoot hoops, I will never know. Though each time Gryffindor wins, I can't help but be infected by the elation of our house, especially with how we have no choice but be bombarded by the celebrations in our Common Room.

That's good to know. Glad to see the OWLs haven't been stressing you out like it has to me when I was in fifth year. I think even a few of my friends were scared to go near me. And, yes, I've been very well, thank you. Just keeping busy as well like I usually do.

But it's my favorite place in the castle, Mare. What are we going to gain from no longer mentioning said place anyway? "Where's Dorcas?" "In the room filled with books and periodicals." sounds like such a mouthful even for me.

Probably because you would expect and should have the right to study in a library without being bothered. Eh.. as for the first years, maybe they’re just nervous still, though the summoning charm isn’t exactly a difficult one to master..

True, but that still doesn't answer why the hallways are so quiet. Don't tell me everybody's holing up in the library now because that would just be weird. Or is there a Quidditch game I thankfully forgot to attend again?
