“Her name’s Georgia. or GiGi for short. We’re Italian….we have weird names.” Ella laughed. “Okay, well fine. But by time, he’ll be four.” she rose an eyebrow. “Well, you’re lucky he can’t say Jesus yet. or uncle. The only thing he knows how to say is mama and dada. My mom is trying to get him to say nona.”

“Haha okay, it’s not that strange.” Jesus said, although he had never met a Georgia before. “Whatever, he’ll adjust. For now, i’m just like his brother, he’s lil’ bro to me” Jesus smiled. “He’ll learn, better warn you’re mom hell probably say my name before nona, after all, i’m a very important person in his life.” Jesus chuckled.

“You’d be a huge life saver.” Ella smiled. “Like seriously.” she laughed. She looked down at Bentley, who had started sniffling from her scolding. “Don’t encourage him.” she said to Jesus. “Do you wanna go by Uncle Jesus since mommy is so mean?” she looked at Bentley, who was holding his arms out towards Jesus.

“Anything for you” Jesus said with a smile. This statement was true, Jesus would do anything for his friends, especially his best friend. He did’t want Ella to be more stressed than she already was. “What did you say her name was?” Jesus held his arms out for Bentley and grabbed him. “El, what did I say. For now i’m like his brother, he can call me uncle once i’m over 20, got it?”

“I have no idea. She has probably changed a lot since we were 12 and 10.” Ella laughed. “That was the last time I saw her. It was the family reunion.” she shrugged. “Why? What was your idea?” she asked as Bentley started babbling and trying to tug at Ella’s her. “Bentley. no tugging at mommy’s hair.” she scolded.

“Right, makes sense.” Jesus said, thinking for a moment. “Well, I mean, she’ll be in my grade, right? I wouldn’t mind showing her around, keeping her occupied and stuff. After all, there is only 3 months left of school. It’ll make it easier for you to focus and I might make a new friend out of it?” Jesus laughed when he saw Bentley tugging on El’s hair.

“She’s 15 going on 16.” Ella said, kissing Bentley’s cheek. “So, she’s not too much younger than me.” she looked back at Jesus. “I guess I’m just upset with the timing. Bentley’s 9 months old, and I’m cramming for the last couple months of high school.”

“Oh so she’s not a child. That’s like you having to take care of me.” Jesus said with a chuckle, thinking about how weird that would be. “Yeah, it’s not exactly the best time.” Jesus sighed. “But hey, hey listen. What’s she like? I might have a bit of a solution”

“Well, I found out my cousin is coming to town.” Ella said, straight-forwardly. “I haven’t seen her in God knows how long, and my life is already so busy with Bentley and school.” she sighed, sitting down and looking down at Bentley in her lap, since he had woken up on the drive over. “And now, I gotta take care of her.”

“Well that’s great!” Jesus said with a smile, but then he listen to what else Ella had to say. “Or maybe not” he added. “I know how busy you are, how old is she? You shouldn’t have another kid to take care of”

Ella saw her phone light up with Jesus’s reply and got up, grabbing Bentley’s diaper bag and Bentley, putting him in his carrier, carefully since he was still sleeping, and grabbed her keys, heading out to her car. After getting everything in the car, she headed off to the Adams-Foster house. When she got there, she got Bentley out of the car and went and rang the door bell.

Jesus came down the stairs, excited to see Bentley and Ella. He opened the door with a smile and greeted the two with a hug. “So, what’s up.” He said, letting them in and shutting the door behind them.

Family Ties {Ella & Jesus}

Ella sat in her house, having just put Bentley down for a nap, when she decided to check her email. She saw an email from her uncle about how her cousin was coming to California and she needed a place to stay and thought of Ella right away. Ella sighed. She hadn’t seen her cousin in years and let alone her life was busy enough with Bentley and school and now she had to make time for her cousin. She pulled out her phone and texted Jesus, asking if he could come over because she needed to talk.

Jesus heard his phone vibrate and smiled when he saw that it was Ella. He quickly texted back saying she could come over to talk. Moms weren’t home, so the house would be quiet incase she wanted to talk about something serious. He got out of his pj’s and awaited her arrival.

Ella laughed. “Well fine, I’ll just take my cookies back then.” she teased. She nodded when Jesus asked if she wanted to come inside. “Yeah, sure. I can say hi to everyone before we head out to the movie.” she said, stuffing her keys in her purse.

"Great" Jesus said with a smile. He thought for a quick moment, "actually I think mom is the only one here to say hi to, but she'll be happy to see you" Jesus shut the door behind her and started walking towards the kitchen. He was starving.

To The Movies {Ella &Jesus}

Ella saw the text from Jesus saying the she needed to pick him up, so, she got in her car and drove off to the Adams-Foster house.  She pulled in the driveway and got out, going to knock on the door. Even though she’d been here so many times before, she still found it polite to knock. “Special delivery!!!” she called out, giggling a little bit.

Jesus ran down the stairs and through on a light jacket. He opened the door quickly, looked her up and down and said "sorry, we already got our girl guide cookies this year." he chuckled lightly. "Wanna come in, we can get something to eat before the movie."

To The Movies {Ella &Jesus}

Ella was excited to go see a movie with her best friend, and to get out of the house. Not that she didn’t love Bentley, or loved taking care of him, but hanging out with an almost 8 month old all the time got quite boring. She let her mom know she was going out and asked if she could watch Bentley, and luckily, her mom agreed. Not that she wouldn’t take care of her own grandchild. She texted Jesus and asked if she needed to pick him up before the movie.

Jesus got a text from Ella and replied quickly with a 'yes'. Jesus felt like he had been away forever. He was going to wrestling tournaments across the states almost every weekend which left him with very little time to hang out with his friends, especially his girlfriend. It had been days since he'd spoken to Alyssa and he had to talk to Ella about this. He was eager to hang with his best friend.
