  HEADCANON.  Leonard really doesn’t like to think about Father’s Day. it is however unavoidable. he had not the greatest relationship with hit father in his younger years. it only strengthened when he got older –  &  the gravity of what he did to his father it weighs on him.

double that up with the fact he neglected his daughter quite a bit  &  wasn’t there for her all the time. – it’s not a great time for him

so if anyone needs the doctor he will be in his office drowning in the strongest booze he can find.

HE SNEAKS  IN  AS  USUAL  not  a  single  soul  in  sight .  they  have  to  be  careful  ,  can’t  have  jim  knowing  about  this .   ----  well  his  friend  has  offered  mixed  blessings  (  leaning  more  towards  disapproval  )    it  is  better to  have  the  captain  not  know  leo  is  fudging  the  scheduling  for  this  meeting  .    ❛  its  fine  darlin’  i’m  alone .   we  won’t  be  bothered       ❜    hands  softly  grip  the  augments  shoulders  massaging  them  gently  .  ❛   now  tell  me  watcha  have  planned  for  the  next  few  hours  ?  we  got  plenty  of  time   ❜   heads  dips  down  to  nuzzle   into   khans  neck  .

  SPOCK. 

IT’S QUIET. perhaps that’s why spock so frequently escapes from the bridge to conduct his research, getting lost in the SCIENCE and exploration of new things. he was lucky to be able to work independently, meaning he wasn’t waiting or needing APPROVAL of anyone else. it made his work all the more enjoyable… not that he would admit to such a human sentiment. he was looking over some data when his padd chimed – an unexpected interruption, but spock looks to the device and sees a notification from leonard. when he opens it, the vulcan’s brow quirked… c u ri o u s.

IN   TRUTH   LEO   is   half expecting  his  attempts  to  go ignored  .  spock  has  things  to  be   doing  ,  he  can’t  possibly  be  bothered  with  leonards  messages  of  boredom  .   the  doctor  places  the  padd  in  defeat  .    it   was   as  mistake  ,   he  will  just  see  spock  later  in  bed   ----  there  is  a  sigh  .  hands  push   up   on  the  wooden  desk  as  he rises  from  seat  ,  he  hears  the  alert   noise   as  he  stands  .    a   little   too quickly   leonard  reaches  for  the  padd  ,   a  new  message  .   eyes  soften   &  lips  tug  into  a  smile   ,  perhaps  it  wouldn’t  be  a boring  afternoon  yet  after  all .     a  light hearted  chuckle    ❛   oh  spock     ❜   &  fingers   begin   to  type

IT  STARTS  WITH  his  file .  leonard   recalls  opening  it  , mulling over all  the important  medical information  &  background .  stats ,  appearance  (  both new & old   )  ,  strengths  &  weaknesses  ,   all  standard  info in ones medical  file .   however  there  is  a  disturbing  lack  of birthday  .  of  course  when  the doctor  decides  to  question  the  augment  he says  he  has none .     &   this  is  when  the  rumours  begin  that  khan  was an experiment  from  the beginning   ,   born  in   lab  always  a  means  to further  science .   leonard  does his best to dissuade  the  lies  ,   ye he  knows  birthdate  or not   one  can  be  born in  lab .   but  just because  one is  missing  one  does  not  automatically  mean  that .  everyone  has  a birthday   &  it  would  appear  khan  didn’t  know  his  own . 

ONLY   LATER  WHEN  they  become  more  than  patient  &  doctor   does  leonard  inquire  about giving  his  lover  a birthday  . of  course  khan  argued against  not  needing  one   but  leo  insists   -----  everyone  should  have  a birthday  .  march  15th  is  his   date  of  choice  .  no  special  meaning  ,   just picked   at  random   ,   he  doesn’t  want to  get too sentimental  just yet  .  everything   is  still  so  new  .    eventually  they   fall  into  a pattern   &  he finds  himself  anticipating  the  date  more  &  more .     

THE  DOCTOR  HASN’T  celebrated  a birthday  in  years  .   he  doesn’t  do  anything  special   on his  own  ,   just sits  around  drinking  --- always  feeling  sorry  for   himself .  but he  does  enjoy party  planning   ,  thoughts  linger  back  to joannas  first  birthday   &  the  fuss he  made  back  then .   it  was  a  time  when  he  really  was  happy  ,  something  he  is  again now  .    when  he  rises  from  bed  that  morning  plans  in  mind  he  casts  a glance  at  the sleeping body  next  to  him .   a  soft  smile   graces  his  lips  ,   there is  work  to be  done  now . 

HES CALLED  OUT  today .   even  made  a  deal  with  jim  to  keep  him  from  calling khan  down  to engineering .   took   some  persuading  on  his  part   (  letting  jim  whatever  he  wanted for  a month  ,  god  help  him  when  that  was  over  )  but  it   will  be  worth  it  .   he  lets  the  augment  sleep  as  he  starts  cooking in  the  off wing  in  his quarters  .   the doctor  requested  a  small kitchenette  for the  five  year   & given  his  quick  thinking  saving  spocks  life  starfleet agreed  to  his  request  .    days  like  today  it  really  pays  off . 

LEONARD  SETTLES  ON  a  classic .   you  can  never  go  wrong  with  bacon ,   eggs  , toast  &  a glass of orange  juice  .   partly  out  of  that  &  partly out of hes  not exactly  sure of  khans favourites  ,   never  asked  .   he  files   that   in  his  head  to  ask  later .   the doctor  places  the  contents  of  the  meal  on  a  tray  &  brings  it  back  into  the main room  .   he   places  it  next  to  his  sleeping  boyfriend   &   crouches  down  so  they  are  at  eye level  .  leaning  forward   leonard  brushes  his  nose  gently  against  khans  .     ❛    wakey    wakey    ❜   he bops  the nose  quickly   before  giving quick   kiss  to   his  forehead .       ❛     happy  birthday   darlin’      ❜

P  S   A.   so   i   think   for   the   time   being   i   will   be   making  leo   more  plot  based  regarding  threads   &  verses   .  ofc   i   will   still   post   memes   /  accept  ic  asks   &   if  muse  strikes  hella  i   may  post   a starter  call  ,  but   i   would   really like  to  be  able   to  manage  leo   &    with  school  starting   soon  i  wanna  have  some   solid  things  going  that  i  can  keep  up  with  .     this   account  is  also   gonna be  a little   slower   with  replies  as  my  main  trek  blog   shall continue  to  be  my  spock  .

HE  RECALLS  the  fear  ,  its  not  that  hard  to  remember  .   the  entire   time  leonard  was  stuck  with  spock   ,   caring  for  his  friend   wondering   if   they  we’re  the  only   ones  alive in  the  end  .   of   course   he   thought  of   khan  ,  but  that  wasn’t   what  the doctor  had  the  time  to  focus   on .   his  commander   was   his  focus  right   now   &  leo  could  not  let  his  fears   cloud  his  work  space   .    he  puts  it  away   ,   locks   the  fears  &  anxieties  deep  down     (   hes  gotta  be  okay  ,   its  all  gonna   be  okay    )  

HE  REMEMBERS  the  relief  ,  seeing   that   khan  is  breathing  &  is  okay  .   leonard  doesn’t  have  time  to   really   make   display  of  relief   other  then  the  small   smile   &  his hand  gently  brushing  against  the  others  ,   they  will   have  their  own  time  later  .  

HE   LIVES   in   the   moment   now  of   sweet  sweet  privacy  .   finally  after   the long  struggle  they  are  alone .   their   bodies   don’t  remain  apart  for   long   now  .   leonard  barely  has  time   to  remove  his  heavy  uniform  before   he  is  pushing   the  augment  down onto  the  bed  .   it   is  not  in   sexual   frenzy   either  ,    its   a    god  i  right  need  to  touch  right  now    ----  desperate   call   .    

NEITHER   OF   them speak    right   away   ,    throwing    themselves    right into  a furry  of  touches  &  kisses   .  relief   once  again  filling   them   .    khan  breaks   the  silence   first   ,  &  smile   breaks    onto    leonards    face    ❛    yah   babty   i’m   right    here    ❜   his  lips  capture  khans  again    ❛     we’re  fine     ❜   he  mumbles    in    between   the   small   kisses  .

IT  IS   SLOW   in  medbay  at  the  present   time  .   mccoy  has  finished  all  his  accounted   paperwork   for  the  day   ,   so  unless  the  doctor  fancies  cleaning   the medical  equipment  once  over  again  ,   he  is  screwed  .   a  huff escapes  his  lips  as  he  leans  back  in  his  chair  ,  thoughts  trail  to  what  his lover  is  doing  .   ❛   probably   in   those   dammed   labs again     ❜    perhaps   leonard   could  go bother  him   ?   it   is  not  as  if  he  is  needed   here  .   but  of  course  knowing  his   luck  he  would  leave   &   some crisis   would   happen .   ❛   guess   i’m   stuck   here     ❜

HE  STARES  AT  the  ceiling   for  a  few  minutes  before  he  gets  an  idea  .   a  smirk  graces  his   features   &   the doctor   reaches  for  his  pdd .    quickly   he   types  across the  screen .   if  he  can’t   go  have  fun ,   he  will  have  to  bring  the  fun here

planned to do some work here today but things happened & now i am drained which doesn’t help for doing leo replies  lol .   so i will do my best to get things going tomorrow .  now i start school at the end of next month so honestly most if not all replies will start being queue .  gotta be able to keep on top of my main baes as well as school .  see ya babes hopefully tomorrow   !
