He Delivers You from All

An affliction is defined as the cause of persistent pain or distress. Afflictions can take on many forms—a sickness or hardship, a temptation, a coworker or family member. There are so many things that can come against us, but God promises in His Word that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. You might feel afflicted today, but God is working to bring you out of that difficult situation. It may not be in the way you thought, but you have to trust that God has your best interest at heart.

Remember, afflictions are only temporary. Stand in faith believing that God is on your side. It doesn’t matter what your circumstances look like, get up every morning and say, “This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. My Deliverer is coming!”

Peter was so in love with Jesus, he set his eyes on Jesus. BUT the moment he took his eyes off Jesus and sees what was happening around him, that’s when he started to sink. 

Don’t look around; focus on Jesus.

My two cents.

I couldn't care less what people say about me, or whether I fit their standards. There's only One standard I should conform to - and it is The Lord my God's standards. Everyone else's can never compare.

Pray for the lost. Some people might think that prayer is a passive thing, when literally, the battle starts the moment we pray. NEVER neglect prayer. This is where the ACTION happens. :)

How can we show love like the bible says? It says to show love with actions and deeds instead of through words. How?

Give the benefit of the doubt. Don’t jump to conclusions. 

Associate with people others consider annoying.

Respond to gossip with encouragement. 

Be patient with those taking a long time.

Don’t celebrate any sort of wrongdoing.

Be a friend to people with no friends. 

Don’t get offended when provoked.

Forgive people who have hurt you.

Take every opportunity to be kind.

Don’t be jealous or full of envy.

Be gentle with your speech. 

Tutor those who need help.

Defend those being bullied. 

Don’t boast or be proud.

Don’t give up on people.

Be positive and hopeful.

Give second chances.

Offer transportation.

Don’t think any evil.

Share the gospel. 

Feed the hungry.

I haven't finished reading the whole post but I believe it is worth sharing. It is also worth doing. It is easier said than done but it all starts with small steps. One item at a time. :)

You must have the courage to say no. You have to start saying no to good things so you’ll be able to say yes to the best things.

No one can love you more than God can. 

The reality is, no matter how much people say they care about you, they will instinctively care for their own families first before you. This is why you should never put your trust and assurance with man because you will just be disappointed. I believe this is also the reason why the Bible says to put your hope in God alone. Because only He can love and care for you more than a parent does. He will never fail you. His love is the only love that is true.
