What do you do in your free time?
Well it depends. Sometimes I read, sometimes I watch movies or television shows. Sometimes I try and make things or come up with ideas for films and movies and stuff. There's a whole bunch of different things.
I like when the sky turns nearly black, right before it storms.
Ever seen a midnight storm roll in? And the sky suddenly goes from twinkling to this vast blackness? That's pretty cool as well.
I've decided that evenings are my favourite part of the day. Evenings and the end of filming time. I mean, evenings are such a beautiful part of the day, when the sky starts changing colours and those blues turn such a deep purpley-blue. But really, nothing beats finishing filming and having someone to spend time with in the evenings instead of being all alone.

"Fortunately for us, I was only looking for one person." Most of her attention had been focused on Tom for the better part of the day. She’d been thinking about all of the different roads that this visit could lead the two of them down. There were a few that she was really hoping for if she was being honest. Not that she’d lie about that or deny it if she were asked. By Tom, at least. Natalie wasn’t the most forthcoming person to just anyone. She didn’t see the point in keeping things from him though- especially since the things she would be keeping from him tended to get him a little flustered. He was adorable when he was like that. It would be a complete lie if Natalie said that she didn’t try to get him flustered like that on purpose whenever she could. It was just such a wonderful thing to witness. She wasn’t really used to finding something adorable so attractive, but for whatever reason, Tom managed to make it work for her. He managed to make everything work for her, really. It was strange how one day they’d just picked up a conversation and she’d been intrigued ever since. People rarely commanded Natalie’s attention the way Tom did. She shook her head at his question. "No, don’t worry about it. I packed light." Going from place to place had made Natalie a master of packing lightly. She could get a week out of the bag hanging from her shoulder. Her intention wasn’t necessarily to stay that long, but she thought it was best to be safe. Laughing a little at his next question, Natalie nodded. "I am definitely ready."
It was surprising to her when she felt his arm wrap around her, but it certainly wasn’t unpleasant. Natalie liked the feeling of being close to him. She usually wasn’t the most touchy feely person in the world, but this was yet another exception that Tom was drawing out of her. A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth as he rambled on a little. God, that was so cute. “The trip was fine.” She responded. “I finished season two on the way up. I think my heart shattered into about a million little pieces when Andrea died.” Natalie lived for films and television shows that could affect her like that. If something could make her feel pain or happiness or anger or fear, then she would invest plenty of interest into it. It was rare for her to find pieces like that, and Da Vinci’s Demons had turned out to be something of a hidden gem. She liked it a lot, and not just because of the man she was currently walking with and his involvement in it. The acting was great, as was the writing. Although there were a few things in the second season that had upset her in regards to the writing and the story. That was alright though. She wanted to be upset by it. She wanted to be invested in it enough to feel that way. That was a sign of how good it was, in her opinion. As they reached the car, Natalie cocked an eyebrow and grinned at Tom. “Such a sweet ride. Wow. You know, I don’t think I’ve ever seen its equal,”
"Well. That is fortunate. I'm sure catching your attention would be much harder if you weren't. Even with my handy dandy sign." It made Tom incredibly glad that she was only looking for him. It made him really glad. Knowing that Natalie was only looking for him, thinking about him once she'd arrived, and he hoped she'd been thinking about him just as much as he'd been thinking about her for the past day. She was all that was on his mind, and for so many different reasons. Half of him was just full of pure excitement at showing Natalie the set and the costumes and the other actors because he knew she'd be interested and engaged and she'd care about the level of care the rest of the cast and crew members had for this show and the portrayal of historical figures. On the other hand, he was full of a different excitement, a nervous excitement, thinking about the various ways their meeting could transpire into. With a small, and slightly grateful, smile Tom nodded and linked his hands behind his back. "On the plus side, if you've forgotten anything or you need anything extra, I know all the great places to get them now. Packing lightly has its benefits sometimes." Tom was always good at packing, even more so now that he'd started travelling for filming and promotions. He had no doubt Natalie was capable of living from a well packed bag for however long she needed, and he hoped it would be as long as possible for the both of them. With a grin at Natalie's kind of a adorable laugh, Tom half bent in a mock bow, "please, let me lead the way, milady".
Tom really was glad Natalie didn't pull away from his arm or make a comment about it. It was nice to have her close, without questions or explanations. She was such a perfect height for him, tall enough that there wasn't a giant gap, but short enough that she fit perfectly into his arm. Tom's cheeks reddened ever so slightly at her smile; it wasn't condescending or annoying but the sweet happiness in it made him just a little embarrassed about his tendency to ramble. "Oh. Andrea. Filming that scene was.... really, really hard. Allan and I really struggled with the emotions in that. And knowing that Leo basically had the only real father in his life ripped from him, it's just torn the biggest hole imaginable in his heart. I'd say I'm sorry for your pain, and I am, but I'm also really glad because at least we know that we got the emotions of the scene right enough for people to feel that." With an slightly softer voice, tainted with uncertainty, Tom had to ask Natalie about her thoughts on the rest of the show. "It... the rest of it was good though, right?" He didn't need people to tell him that his acting was good, or that he was doing a decent effort of portraying Leonardo, but at the same time...he wanted Natalie to think he was doing okay, to be maybe even impressed by his work. Smirking even wider at Natalie's cocked eyebrow, Tom couldn't help a small giggle escaping his lips. "Oh, believe me, I know just how lucky I am to have such a unique and sweet ride. It's like all my dreams come true." Opening the passenger door for her, maybe he was being a little too eager in his haste to get her from the station, Tom's smirk turned into a dazzling smile. "Now let me show you all the wonders this amazing car has to offer. Like an actual CD player. And cruise control. You'll love it."

Kiss You || Dormley
Just a few hours earlier, Natalie had gotten on a train at King’s Cross Station in order to make her way up to Swansea in Wales. She hadn’t actually been on a train for quite some time. Most of what she did nowadays consisted of her getting on planes for several hours at a time. From Croatia to Morocco to France to Germany and back to England, Natalie seemed to be all over the place. She was glad to be though. The fact that she was all over the place meant that she was busy, and she didn’t do well when she wasn’t busy. Even with her time off after wrapping up filming for both of the Mockingjay films, she was never really relaxing at home. Her time was spent running around London and doing the things she hadn’t gotten to do for a while- visiting favorite sites and people who she hadn’t seen in a while. Most of her friends lived in the city. Sure, she made friends on set while she was filming whatever her next project though, but it was rare for those friendships to stick. She’d said countless times that actors were troubadours and had a talent for bonding quickly and then breaking their ties just as quickly. It wasn’t to say that they weren’t people she enjoyed or would have liked to see again. It was just that she rarely got to. It wasn’t always so easy to go out of the way to see someone, so she didn’t usually do it unless it was a good friend.
Or Tom. Tom seemed to be the exception. Then again, she’d started thinking of him as more than a friend at an increasing rate. She’d been attracted to him when they first met, yes, but physical attraction wasn’t what really got Natalie about him. It was his mind. It was the way he spoke and the way he viewed the world. It was how wonderfully passionate he could get about something. Natalie was a little captivated, and she found herself getting more and more excited as she moved her way through the train car and towards the platform. Knowing that it would be just a tiny bit colder since she was going further up north, she’d put on a hoodie and a jacket over her gray tee, and there was a beanie slouching back on her head. She’d always been something of a tomboy, preferring jeans and t-shirts to blouses and skirts. Special events were the only times she really got dressed up. Interviews, premieres, high profile parties. Otherwise she was much more comfortable like this. Stepping onto the platform, she adjusted the small duffel bag on her shoulder and began to scan the crowd. Natalie couldn’t help but smile when she saw Tom, and she laughed a little and shook her head when she saw the sign he was holding. It was silly and cute and so completely him. She wove her way through the crowd until the two of them were standing across from each other. “Hi yourself,” she said with a smile. “Like the sign,” she teased.
Standing there, taking in how beautiful Natalie looked even in a beanie, Tom let out a small chuckle. "Well, I couldn't let you get lost now, could I? Or let someone else pick you up and take you away." Quickly scrunching the paper in his hands, Tom debated between moving forward to give Natalie a hug or to see if he could help with her baggage. Opting for the latter, more like chickening out of the former, Tom quickly shoved the crumpled paper in his pocket and rubbed his hands down his pant sides. "Would you like me to take a bag or something? Or is there anything I can do to help? That kind of thing." He was being awkward and nervous, he knew that, but suddenly, with Natalie actually, physically here he was reminded of the fact that...she- they- were implying of sharing a room tonight, and Tom wanted it. He wanted to be challenged physically by Natalie, just like he was challenged mentally by her. Trying not to dwell too much, in the highly likely chance he said something that would embarrass him and make a terrible atmosphere worse, he pulled the rental car keys from his jacket pocket. "Ready for a sweet ride? I promise I won't disappoint." With a laugh at his own lame joke, Tom tried to pretend that he hadn't made a very see-through innuendo, and mostly not on purpose.
Walking through and out of the train station Tom had, at some point, wrapped his arm around Natalie. It wasn't in a possessive way like many people had it, he just wanted to be close to her. "So, how was the trip then? Enjoy the train? Do you usually catch trains? I've noticed recently that a lot of people don't catch trains as much these days, and apparently some people find it really... not uncomfortable, but kind of weird, you know? I mean, personally I don't mind trains, so long as there's something to do. Travelling with beautiful countryside's fun, or with people's great, but I really don't enjoy long travel times with nothing to do. Travelling on a plane can get so boring sometimes, and when you're on your own it's just so hard and boring and long and then I have to make friends with strangers and-... sorry. Ah... the trip. Right. How was it?" Tom paused as they reached the car, unlocking the doors and smirking at Natalie. His sweet ride was so simple and it was just so comical for him, even though it might not have been for her. He'd noticed lately that Natalie had actually found a lot of his jokes and pointless statements and really not funny puns, funny enough to laugh at, and he appreciated that so much.

Ever since the date had been set for Natalie to visit, Tom had not been able to sit still once. His thoughts had been focused on nothing but the young woman coming to visit, and today he was so far away in another planet, doing anything was impossible. Well, apart from work. He had to do that, and even in his nervous state he had to work. That was his job. Tom felt a little sorry for everyone around him, because he knew he was terrible company. By the time the evening rolled around, Tom couldn't sit still, couldn't concentrate, couldn't do anything. He'd taken one of the rental cars to the train station, half an hour before her train was set to arrive, and he spent at least twenty minutes pacing through the station. However, once the announcement about her train arrival was voiced, Tom nearly stopped in his tracks. He felt suddenly twice as nervous than Natalie had ever made him feel. She was coming to visit him, and he was going to show her the set and introduce her to everyone, and... well. Things were changing between them. Standing by the platform, far enough away that people could get on and off the train with no trouble, but close enough that Natalie could see him, Tom waited for the blonde to appear. The moment he saw her, Tom's face split into a small grin. She was here. She was here and she was going to be spending time with him. As she walked closer, any words that Tom had quickly dissipated and his mouth dried out. Instead he just help up the little sign he'd made with 'Dormer' written on it, and tried his best not to show his nerves. And then she was there. Right in front of him. And, God, she did look so beautiful. "Hi." That was it, that was all he got out. How eloquent.
My instincts are pretty sound when it comes to these things.
Well that must be quite a nice thing. I better not waste my faith in your instincts.
@NatalieDormer: @meatpuppet Only if you do it really loudly while I'm sleeping. A good cult leader needs her beauty sleep.
@meatpuppet: @NatalieDormer Sleep is for the weak. A good cult leader wouldn't need it.
@NatalieDormer: Are you going to start singing Disney songs?
@meatpuppet: It's been known to happen on occasion. @NatalieDormer Is this going to be a problem?
