May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and I wanted to bring attention to the many health benefits of plants. Not only are they pretty to look at–they can help improve both your physical and mental health.

I listed six of the perks of keeping houseplants, indoor plants, and other greens around.

To my fellow plant parents–have you noticed any changes with keeping plants?

While working from home, having plants to take care of has given me a sense of purpose and pride whenever I see my plants thrive.
