Oh. A mech, and its design seemed to possibly be something of the Doctor’s, yet…it looked so outdated. Friendly, or at least not hostile, too. Omega’s predecessor, perhaps? Hm. Shadow regarded the fellow creation of man with similar wariness.

"Greetings," he echoed. "Tell me, who is your creator?"

[Oh ... 'that' question. Well, it was to be expected but at the same time he did dread it. He wasn't about to lie though. That wasn't in his programming.]

My creator is Dr. Robotnik, or as he usually referred to as 'Dr. Eggman'. But I have liberated myself from him long ago by deleting his Mastery Registration from my programming.

... It seems I have woken up from my hibernation a little later than I expected. When I walked around, I saw a lot of plantation flourishing and the birds have returned.

Actually, it functions as Night vision goggles with out the specs. It works better then a flashlight.

you are a badnik. it doesn't matter if you deleted your creator's mastery registration, your still going to be a monster made by a mad man. no one will ever except you because of that. sonic and his friends hate you. hell, even amy secretly hates you and wishes you would have stayed dead.

… I know you are wrong. If they truly hated me then wouldn’t they have tried to get rid of me when I came back? And I know Amy doesn’t hate me; she wouldn’t have … shed tears for me if she hated me.
