[[guess who’s ill again???? rip it’s me... well idk it’s a mixture of hungover, tired, ill again for some reason and a wee bit hecked up mood-wise bc alcohol messes with my medication, so i might not get to anything today... but yeah it’s a long weekend for me starting tomorrow so i’ll probably jump back on those starters i owe and maybe try and make a verse for the horrorlands thing! \o/]]

“Son of a-” Gaige grunted, rubbing her cybernetic arm - a Psycho had knocked one of the bolts off during combat. She chuckled, in theory she could probably count as a Psycho herself now considering she literally had a screw loose. Turning around, she headed back to Sanctuary. Luckily it was only one screw, if any more came out then her whole arm would probably fall off, and from past experience she knew it was rather difficult to build yourself an arm when you only had one to begin with - she didn’t want to do that again. 

Her train of thought was interrupted by an interesting blue glow coming from behind a building, she momentarily forgot about her arm and went to investigate the light. She hoped it’d be cool loot or something. What if it was another vault? Hah, she imagined the others’ reactions if she came back with a vault key of her very own. ‘Gaige: Vault Hunter Supreme’ - she liked the sound of that. She readied her gun and peered around the corner, just in case. 

It was - a robot? Well, some form of robotic structure at least. Whatever they were they didn’t seem okay - rusting, parts hanging off, some that Gaige was sure weren’t even in manufacturing anymore, how old was this thing? They hadn’t noticed her yet, she bent down and carefully prodded them with her gun.

“Hey... You alive?”

Gaige checked behind her for the others - no sign of them. She let out a quiet sigh of relief; oh man, they would not be happy if they knew what she had done. They really shouldn’t keep Angel cooped up like that though, she’s had enough of that in her life she doesn’t need any more - it’d be nice of her to get out for a bit. 

“So yeah, uh... I was quite a big-shot back on the ol’ Ech0Net” Gaige stretched and cracked her knuckles as they walked, which when thinking about it seemed like a bit of a strange thing to do. Oh well, it made her look cool at least - well she hoped so anyway.

Maternal affection was foreign unto Maya as well. The Brothers, she was uncertain of whether they had truly cared for her, so perhaps parental affection as a whole was something that she should never quite experience. Ironically enough, she felt not its absence, for everyone upon Pandora seemed to be lacking within proper parents, as well. Or, were perhaps estranged from them, save for a few.

She studies the robot, then its handler carefully. The two sat idle within Sanctuary, within the middle of what she perceived to be a town square. Maya was oh-so-terribly bored, for she had ne’er been the sort of woman to sit idle for long periods of time.

A mission? Gaige was always up for a mission, she never liked hanging around Sanctuary for too long. It was a nice enough place, just a bit boring most of the time. She felt bad for Deathtrap mainly, he was programmed to be constantly patrolling and ready for an attack, not just sitting around all day. A mission sounded great right now.

“You know me, I’m always up for a mission!” She jumped off of the bench and turned to face Maya “So what’s it this time?”

Hah, Ax really got it bad this time. Sure she felt a bit bad, a bit - but the Commando would normally tough it through and not let being ill stop him from massacring a bunch of psychos or something, Gaige was similar in that respect. 

“Hey! Firstly I don’t get sick. Secondly if i do - which I won’t because I don’t get sick - but if I do, then you’re gonna be the one who’s sorry.” She turned around to face him, bending down to be on eye-level “C’mon, you can still go The Dust with me, right?”
