He'll inevitably find this overachiever one night, fallen asleep over some recently-finished paperwork or notes from an earlier session with a patient. He does /too/ much, but Hank isn't going to be the one to slow him down. He'll just be the one to pack everything up neatly and gently transport Griffon into bed, so when he wakes up the next morning (too early) to start his day, it won't start with a stiff back and a headache. Just another attempt to say 'I love you' enough.

Waking up somewhere he didn’t remember falling asleep was something that hadn’t been a new occurrence lately. Every since the engagement, himself and Hank had been near inseparable, and that did and didn’t help when Griffon put too much of his thought power into everything but himself. Sat up in bed, with his hands in his lap, his gaze shifted over the shadows before him, the darkness that lingered before --His eyes fell onto the man sleeping beside him.It wasn’t a peaceful sleep, though Hank very rarely slept peacefully, and the snoring was a bit much to behold -- But all he could do was watch with a certain adoration as Hank dozed on and his sleep mind attempted to catch up with his awakened mind.Rather than getting out of bed to go straight to his morning routine, Griffon hunkered down beside Hank, threading his arms around the man before he drew him closer, bit by bit, until he could snuggle in and relax. This was it. Maybe he’d stay in that morning, lay and hold Hank, and forget for a moment that he has so much to get started on. He wanted to absorb himself in the love of his life.

It takes a long while for Hank to finally visit Griffon’s home– and even longer for him to actually feel comfortable walking through the front door of that estate as if he belonged there. But Griffon makes it easier; welcoming and loving as he always is. Eventually, Hank starts spending nights there as much as Griffon stays with him. Sumo joins along, naturally, and it’s that snoozing form across the room that he watches while he’s laying in bed that night. Griffon, already having fallen to the lull of sleep, cradled close to Hank’s chest, steals his attention every now and then– and always a smile finds its way to Hank’s lips. This sort of happiness is addicting.
