hi hi hi hi! PORN.
Hi y’all, for my final i'm exploring porn and other people's sexual interests. So, through this tumblr platform, i'd really like if any of you could share with me, anonymously or not, your sexual interests through porn, so i can start creating paintings, drawings, prints, etc. about these interests. Thanks y'all.
I also wanna point out that i fully understand that!!! the porn industry can be a giant issue for some people, and that it's offensive to others, and i'm prepared to have that conversation, if need be. But on the latter, it's okay and really helpful and explorative for a lot of other humans, too!! If that’s something you want to discuss, let’s discuss it.

For all y’all that like work that is based on interacting with the public, sampling from every day interactions, or just generally being super creative you should check out Mashd N Kutcher because they do crazy stuff like this all the time.

On Draw A Bird Day, you know what to do The unofficial holiday is celebrated worldwide on April 8, and after you read the story behind it, you’re going to want to draw one.
Reed plans for final project
hey ya’ll! So I’m stuck between two ideas (these are vague descriptions because I am better at explaining my concept in person). I’m either going to go back to my roots with a portraiture project of young women (specifically teen girls) inspired by botanical illustrations and veggies OR create a series of abstracted self-help workbooks for myself which I will also be filling out as part sculpture part performance
can’t wait to see all the awesome things people do!
hey dudes
What’s up guys!
I figured I’d make a post regarding what kind of work we’re all going to be working on this week so we can get a better idea of who we’ll pair up with for the next class for critique. The purpose of this is just to start a discussion regarding our work and things we’re starting to invest ourselves in.
So heck ya, let’s get this started.
Personally, I’m focusing on an interactive installation piece that involves creating a sculpture out of pieces of an old chair that I got from my late grandmother’s kitchen. I’m looking forward to exploring the medium of this chair with other people and seeing how they interact with it as building blocks of a sculpture.
Your turn!

Here is a link to the tracks I showed today in class! They will be available for free on April 15th :)
3D Printing is the future
I agree with Jenny! I want to see everyones work! I have not been recording much lately but I did this kind of recently.
I’m a little late to posting the 10 inspirational artists. I think comics are very underrated and misrepresented, so i’m putting a few comic artists in here.
*Patrick Kyle - wild metaphysical comics and drawings (http://www.patrickkyle.com/tagged/art)
*Christopher Forgues (C.F.) - embracing the inane and the design and the magick of drawing. he also makes incredible music under the monikers Brown Recluse Alpha and Kites (http://free-cf.com/) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ah6kAp9-Zh0)
*Tove Jansson - best known as the creator of Moomins, though she made a lot of amazing art in her time. The Moomin comics and books are philosophical and poignant far beyond their intended demographic. (http://www.tovejansson.com/eng/ura.html)
*Yuichi Yokoyama - shapes, architecture, color, comics, painting, no real website. I recommend looking up scans from his book New Engineering. (http://www.azito-art.com/yuichi-yokoyama/)
*Forcefield - part mini collective born out of the fort thunder collective, part electronic jungle music band. along with lots of the art and artists that came out of fort thunder, they have no website and very little documentation of their work. they would knit full body costumes to perform in and doing massive multimedia performances. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zexzRKCTVU)
*Brian Chippendale - this dude is just a full on assault of energy. he makes incredible comics, paintings, collages, installations, but is best known for being the drummer of Lightning Bolt, as well as his solo act Black Pus. he doesn’t have a website but you can find plenty. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imySje55NAI)
*Genesis Breyer P-orridge - everything they do is magic. (http://www.genesisbreyerporridge.com/genesisbreyerporridge.com/Genesis_BREYER_P-ORRIDGE_Home.html)
I’ll add more later.

Posting music I have been working on -- what has everyone been working on aside from the work they show in this class? I would be interested in seeing/hearing/experiencing the work everyone makes :) Links to sites? Post photos?
