Spent the past few days up at Lake Lucid....
Oh, it’s always interesting how certain places attract certain types of Pokemon, even though it’s not really surprising. I’ll look a book up for sure, when I have time to read it of course.
It is! The variety alone is kind of mindblowing, to be honest. And of course, there's certainly no hurry, or anything. What have you been doing, since you got into the city?

A name can be perfectly inspired by something, without sounding unique, can't it? And a unique name might just be random, instead of anything meaningful. I suppose it's all...situational.

Yeah, I have no idea why but one was hiding in the old lighthouse while I tried to watch the sunrise from the top of it.
Yeah I thought it fitted her but Luna would be so inspirationless.
Maybe she got lost in the Lighthouse, or something? Or perhaps something in the area attracted her there. I have no idea, really.
I don't know if I'd call it inspirationless, but definitely less unique, I'll give you that one.
Spent the past few days up at Lake Lucid....
Oh, I had no idea of it’s existence. But how did it get polluted then, where there a lot of poisenous pokemon around Lake Lucid a long time ago?
Oh no, not at all. It was all because of human pollution, actually. That wound up drawing poison type pokemon to the area -especially Grimer and Muk. There's a few books on the topic, actually, if you ever want to read up on it.
I appear not to have learned from my mistakes...
It would be appreciated. I have found that sunburns are not only painful, but they can grow rather itchy as well. It is a most unpleasant sensation. Arhtur is the Tropius, yes? I can’t believe I still have not made his acquaintance! And you must meet Bohr and Kelvin as well. A portable snack? I have never put much thought into this. What type of snack does he deliver?
He is a Tropius, and one you definitely have to meet, at that. It's really quite a shame we haven't been in touch to meet each others pokemon, yet. He's a Tropius. So he's got the fruit on his neck, he's more than happy to share. Or I can send him with a bag of sandwiches, too.

Lake Lucid's a lake, north of here that used to be horribly polluted. But a family of nurses cleaned it up, and they've been there, taking care of the pokemon who live there, since.

You've never heard of Lake Lucid? It's a lake up north of here that used to be horribly polluted. But a family of nurses cleaned it up, and tend to the pokemon who live there, now. It's where I got my start.

I've got to admit, I like going there a lot more, when I can fly. It was good, to see the others though.
I appear not to have learned from my mistakes...
And I have procured another sunburn. I feel that how engrossed I become in my research is becoming a problem, as it prevents me from both eating and reapplying sunscreen.
Oh Tina. One of these days we're going to get you trained to not get a sunburn. I mean, really? Come see me, the next time you go out and I'm going to send Arthur with you. He can keep you in the shade with his wings, and he also happens to constantly have a portable snack. Problem solved.
As much as I missed being home....
Do you think your family would be willing to indulge you with any time to yourself? Or were they so forlorn in your absence that you feel they will not release you from their grasp until you are away from home once more?
Oh! It is nice, I agree, although I feel that your home-cooked meals are probably preferable to my indulging myself with store-bought meals at every opportunity.
They do at times, but for the most part it's 'Aaaaadam you're back! Let's talk about boys, come paint my nails, we have to go to the beach!' from my sister. And then helping my mother out in the shop. I think I'm free for the moment, though? My sister's sick of me, at least.
And they probably are! Which reminds me... Can I tempt you to come over for dinner one of these days? I mean, you may as well, and mom's always happy to have company.
As much as I missed being home....
I really do miss my free time quite a bit. Between the pokemon center and the family well...There hasn't exactly been much of that around, lately.
But on the bright side...It's really nice not to have to cook for myself.

She is! I think I would have been happier with it all if it wasn't me she was stealing from though.

That’s really great. My sister and I have resolved a few of our arguments of late, which is really nice. Speaking of frienemies. Or sistenemies. I don’t think that’s analogous…
Everyone has enemies, though. Hiding.
Oh well that's good to hear then! And I have....No idea. I suppose I'd just call her a frienemy? It flows a bit better.
And that's true....Though not the best thought. I don't much enjoy the concept of having enemies. But I guess I should be glad at least I don't have any obvious ones?

Nope, no frienemies to speak of. Or enemies, that I'm aware of...I don't think I have any of those? And no worries, I have no plans of going near anemones any time soon, so I should be good. How are you though, Caitlin?

Oh it was a good week! Just...a busy one as well. I love spending time with her, and all that...There's just a point when I'd like a little time alone as well. But I have plans to hang out with a few old friends this weekend, so I'm content.

She's 18, now. Just graduated last year, so she's sticking around Olivine for a bit.
And a Tropius. One I just caught, as a matter of fact. So....Well I think the novelty of his being here, is something she enjoys.
