âAh-â
âHey! Itâs you! How is this- How are you-?!â
@devastating-cutie
âThat... is quite a unique doll. It looks like itâs coming apart, though.â
âWait, you encouraged this? Â As a doctor?â
âWell, I thought he meant something else! Iâm also not a doctor, but a scientist.â
âIâm sort of impressed, but mostly disgusted.â
âI mean, he said he could do it, I just never expected that.â
âOld enough to handle âhazardous liquidâ though. Isnât that about the same thing?â
âYou... Have a point.â
âOf course. What could possibly go wrong?â
âTrust me, Iâm a doctor.â
@medicinalmight and @lightning-of-kharlan
âSorry, Jude, that sounded more like hold my beer and watch this.â
âBut Iâm not old enough to drink, Alvin. You know that.â
@medicinalmight said:
âIt gets easier if you donât question it.â
âIâm going to continue to question your sense of self-preservation until you quit picking up dangerous materials without a proper containment system for them.â
âIâm a scientist. I know what Iâm doing.â
Skyrim guard quotes! Send one to my muse.
"Bit late to be wandering around, isn't it?"
"Let me guess... someone stole your sweetroll."
"I find your hand in my pocket, I'm going to cut it off."
"Fear not. Come dragon or giant, we'll be ready."
"Hmm. I still don't like it, but I guess I'll overlook it. This time."
"Ugh. Your breath is foul. What've you been eating?"
"You hear that? I swear, there's something out there. In the dark."
"Only burglars and vampires creep around after dark. So which are you?"
"I need to ask you to stop. That... shouting... is making people nervous."
"I know your kind, always sneaking about."
"Disrespect the law, and you disrespect me."
"Trouble?"
"Hands to yourself, sneak thief."
"You come up to me, fists raised? You looking for a beating?"
"No lollygaggin'."
"Everything's in order."
"Heard about you and your honeyed words..."
"Could sure use a warm bed right about now..."
"Watch the skies, traveler."
"So you can cast a few spells? Am I supposed to be impressed?"
stop assuming how you interpret a canon character is how an rper plays that character 2k16
being a roleplayer means you have the ability to play your favourite characters just how you see them, or sometimes even in an au sense. whatâs fanon isnât necessarily going to be how an rper plays their character! Donât assume that just because someoneâs muse is a canon character you know them, how they think, how they feel, how they act. read the bios of characters, canon or not, read the rules, talk to the muns! everyone has a different view of a character and they will play these characters different to how you see them, different to how other muns of the same muse see them. it is so frustrating when people make these assumptions. my friend wants to stop playing her character because of fanon assumptions that she doesnât agree with keep getting pushed onto her in threads. please respect everyoneâs individual portrayal of characters, if you want a fanon version of a particular character, find a mun that plays it that way.
âWell, that game of Scepters and Spirits could have gone better...â
â Thatâs quite the experience. Iâd be shocked if you werenât at least decent after training like that.â
âMy friend liked to scream âSPARRING TIME!â and attack me out of the blue. I had to get good.â
â She sounds like quite the teacher. I may be slightly jealous.â
âGrowing up her daughterâs best friend, I got roped into it more against my will. After a while, though, I grew to like it. Iâm fairly good, too.â
â Itâs more reckless, or so Iâve been told. Do you have a weapon of preference?â
âGauntlets. Iâm a martial artist, trained for twelve years by the toughest woman Iâve ever known, bar none.â
â Iâve never given it much thought. Itâs just how I fight. â
âMore instinctual than methodical? Intriguing. Iâd love to see how you fight.â
Moving to retrieve the sheath, Yuri slid the blade back in with a click.
â More force of habit than anything. Plus it keeps the blade protected from the elements. âÂ
âThatâs fair. And practical, too, I guess. It just seems like a hassle to have to find it after every fight.â
â Not with the sheath. More like soâ â
Flipping the sword up and behind him, he caught it smoothly by the hilt in his left hand. A quick jerk to the left had the sheath flying off, the gleaming blade exposed and positioned at the ready. It was a bit more showy then Yuri normally did but he was in the mood for flippant displays.Â
Jude watched the flippant display with little more than the barest interest, shows of little substance had never been something Jude had been enraptured by. He did, however,cast a confused gaze at the discarded sheath on the ground.
âSo why even have a sheath in the first place?â
