Mini Glass Rig from 3 Doors Down!
Are you are thinking about picking up dabbing and want to go as far as getting your own rig, but you don’t want to go big and expensive? I get that, you’re interested but not fully invested right? Well, I thought I would do a little research, and I found the perfect little cost efficient rig for you!
I recently went on a little adventure, shopping around to see different prices on rigs. I was curious to see how inexpensive picking up dabbing could be. When I first thought about touching concentrates there were two things that really worried me about starting up. Number one, was my tolerance. I was worried my tolerance would sky rocket if started to introduce a more concentrated form of THC in to my medication regimen.
Cannabis is not cheap, and the higher your tolerance, the more cannabis you are going to need to consume to receive the same effects. So, of course, that was at the back of my mind. Is it more cost efficient to go with a concentrated form of THC or to stick with just plain Cannabis flower? Don’t worry, I’ll take that topic up in another article. This article is about my tiny, cost efficient, super cute new dab rig.
The second worry that I had in my thoughts was how costly it could be. Purchase of tools, rigs, and concentrates? Then I thought, what if you didn’t have to spend a shit ton of money to see if dabbing is for you. I wondered if there were any head shops around that could possibly sell cheap good quality dab rigs. Then I found this little beauty. Made completely out of glass, this rig is super attractive and stylish. I love glass, and I’m so excited to have this as a new part of my collection!
This mini glass dab rig stands at about seven inches tall. Glass dome and nail came included with this bad boy. I do honestly prefer to use a banger when I dab, but that extra piece will have to be purchased separately. Small, but not so tiny that you have nowhere to grip as the base is wide and sturdy. The neck bends slightly to provide more comfort during your dab sesh. There are many advantages to a bent neck design. Some people prefer it because of the aesthetics, but the bent neck serves an important function in some pieces. Bent to prevent any slashback, this slight curve also enables easier access to the mouthpiece. Another wonderful feature that this piece contains is the inline percolator. An inline percolator is a horizontal tube with gridded slits cut around and under the tube. These slits help to provide fantastic filtration without hindering airflow. Filtering your smoke through the water will help to cool it down a bit, giving you a smoother hit.
So who says you have to spend some serious money on a dab rig to be able to medicate with concentrates? There are so many reasons I could give for loving this piece, but most importantly I’m pleased to announce that I found this rig for only $21!! You read that right. TWENTY-ONE DOLLARS? If you are looking to try some concentrated forms of THC to enhance your medicating experience I highly recommend going to pick up just a small inexpensive rig for yourself. Don’t go drop $200 on a rig when you aren’t even sure you will like to dab. Try it first, then start investing in it.
There are so many different kinds of beautiful rigs out there, and lots of different qualities to each. If you end up enjoying your dab session so much you want more, go exploring. Pick out some cute dab tools, maybe grab an awesome dab mat to match your rig. Have some fun with it, and personalize your experience.
