Imaginery Prices - TS4 Gameplay
I have always hated how easy it is to get rich in ts4 so to make things harder for myself I always add random costs to everything they do 💀
babysitter - $33/hour (same rate as the career)
daycare - I've used this mod in the past which is $100 / day
drama club - $20/day (or $100/week) 🎭
scouts - $120 sign-up fee (membership)! & then I make them go on activities / trips / getaways which cost extra of course 🦫
this one is fun because why does a sim wedding only cost $1,000...
engagement ring - $1,000 - £15,000 depending on sim 💍
engagement party - I agree with the in-game price
registry wedding - $350 (I think the rabbithole one in tartosa costs $1,000 though, so I just refund the sims $650)
modest wedding venue - $10,000
extravagent wedding venue - $30,000
wedding dress - $100 - $15,000 (depends on the dress)! same for groom or see dress / tux category under highschool section ❤️
wedding cake - I like the in-game cost 🍰
bouquet - also agree with the price of flowers 💐
👩🎓- highschool / higher education
dress / tux - $80-$200 (depending how fancy your sims are) 🥻🤵
university fees - bank of mum and dad... OR I use this mod & you could even use simcity loans instead of zeros inbuilt loan system
university gown hire - $40 (I don't do this one either)
graduation ceremony ticket - $40 (but again, I don't do this either)
the sims world is as large or small as you want it to be... so I'll let you decide your own internal ts4 'world' map:
taxi - $5 (I don't do this, but you can if you want)
cars - this is a really nice car mod that I use 🚗
short distance flight - $200
long distance flight - $1,200 - $1,800 (depending on how far)
hotels - getaways and rental prices work fine for this I feel 😉
❤️🩹- healthcare (if your sims live in the USA 🦅)
like the rest of this list, totally optional as healthcare irl is stressful enough, but here for those who enjoy making their sims suffer. For context I only have realistic childbirth and RPO so I'm not sure what things cost in the healthcare redux mod 👉👈
(mod) prenatal class / llamacraze class - $100
(mod) ultrasound - $400/scan 🩻
natural birth - $3,000 (insured), $9,000 (uninsured)
(mod) c-section birth - $5,000 (insured), $15,000 (uninsured)
(mod) home birth - the mod charges hourly rate for the midwife
(mod) water birth - $5,000 (insured), $15,000 (uninsured)
who cares if you've built this beautiful, massive house for your sims but OOP they can't afford it, just take out a simcity loan!
nightclub entry fee - $10 🪩
opera/theatre in the city invite - $40 - $200 (depends on what concert in my mind, like maybe it's a super popular band)?
city living festival ticket- $40 (they're kind of like food festivals some of them I feel)?
💡this list assumes that things like insurance are included in your sims bills, but you can also amend your sims bills in MCCC
Never sell from inventory, and only using grocery direct sale for produce, and plopsy / opening a store / stall for artwork etc.
Only selling 'masterpiece' quality to gallery 🖼️ (+ makes fame tough)
Using produce instead to make other things twhich your sims can sell in stores / plopsy such as food, wine, fizz etc.
simcity loans is a MUST have mod for me I LAURV it! if your sims can't pay for something, just take out a loan and cheat away the money and BOOM... sim debt 💀
