This is to inform you Haja SUGRA I. LODHI UKA left us for heaven on the 19th of February 2023. The funeral was on the 23rd. Sister, cousin, aunty, and most of all, a beloved second mother to all of us. She was, will always be our Mama Susi. She was single, with no kids, but we all were her children. She took care of us, helped us, even when we were adults. She loved us, worried about us, like she would her own kids if she’d had them. Mama Susi, you will always be in my heart, my thoughts, my prayers. You were a mother, a friend to me. There was a complicity between us, a loving relationship. I miss you so much, Mama Susi. I love you, Sue. I want to thank you all, my loving family and friends, from my heart for your warm wishes, for your loving and caring support and prayers. Bless you. SIDE NOTE: The day of the funeral, I got up with excruciating stomach pains, but went to the funeral in Barcelona city, around 40/45 km from my hometown. Right after the funeral I was taken immediately to hospital emergency at my hometown. After an ultrasound, Scan, MRI and X-rays, I went through an urgent surgery. My Gallbladder had a lot of inflammation. No stones, only inflammation, so much that a surgery was necessary. I add to all this I hadn’t eaten in 6 days, I was on tea with milk and two digestive biscuits twice a day. And while my Mama Susi was hospitalised for two months, most of the times I barely ate either, what with the stress, the emotional drain, my back pains, I just couldn’t eat or sleep well. The surgeon told me the inflammation was due to all the stress, tension I had been through for months, years..a special case as my recovery was slower due to my back pains reflecting in front, hence why I was discharged 5 days later, instead of in two days after the surgery. But I’m feeling better, Alhamdulillah. Thank you, my dear family and friends, for your unconditional love and support and prayers throughout all these difficult moments and years. Bless you.
