you’ll forget me
“If you have been brutally broken, but still have the courage to be gentle to others, then you deserve a love deeper than the ocean itself.”
— Nikita Gill
“Overthinking does kill your happiness”
— Unknown (via neckkiss)
2019 is the year i get my shit together or i finally kill myself so stay tuned
“You made it. You’re here. You’ve made it past every trial and tribulation. Every time your heart skipped beats inside your chest accelerated by the fear of what would come next, every time it sunk into your stomach weighted by your fears, every night you’ve spent breaking into pieces just to put yourself back together – you’ve made it past it all. You are still here, still surviving, despite everyone that said you wouldn’t, and everything you thought would end you. It’s the new year, a new beginning, and you’re going to make it through this too.”
— Maxwell Diawuoh, Once A Day (01/01/2019)
The truth hurst but secrets kill
If you’re thinking of hurting yourself, stop scrolling and read this (all of it).
1. Get up and wash 3 dishes
2. Change 1 thing in your room, something like changing the sheets, re-organizing the dresser drawers, hanging up or taking down a poster, etc.
3. Go to the gym, or get up and exercise at home.
4. Take a piece of paper, write your feelings down then burn it.
5. Call or text someone you know you can trust, tell them about your urges.
6. Go for a walk or jogging.
7. Scream into your pillow, in your backyard, from a cliff, let it out.
8. Put your favorite bodywash or lotion on a sponge and scrub your arms with it (or any area where you want to self-harm).
9. Look up and learn some boxing techniques, dance moves, etc.
10. Do 5 push-ups and 10 crunches.
11. Wait 20 minutes.
12. Write or draw on your arms.
Trust me. You’ll get through this.
