#mmrequests #megaman #megaman 9 #tornadoman #you got...art attack #Trust him Rock he's been trying to ignore his emotion processing unit for quite some time #Don't blame yourself for thinking he's just done away with it altogether #My theory with TornadoMan is that he has nothing else in his life but his work #He doesn't value much else besides his job #Doesn't really have hobbies or recreational interests #He's known amongst his sibs as the workhorse and the stone cold no-nonsense brother #He's put all his wants and fears and worries to the side because he feels it's the most efficient way to do his job #He finds sentimentality to be a nuisance at best and actually hates the fact that he has the capacity to simulate it #More often than not it only serves to cloud the mind and he cannot afford that in his position #But even the worst of stoics have a breaking point and his was reached when he was told he was no longer needed #It's more like the 'expiration date act' (as I will dub it for now) was passed and he was hurt for a second but relented #'There's no sense in fighting it if this is what humans have decided this is how it must be'#But that begrudging feeling just wouldn't go away no matter how much he tried to ignore it #The feeling of dissatisfaction and restlessness kept bugging him and bugging him up until the time he and the others were found by Wily #At that point he felt vindicated by the old man's words #'Why should I be expected to just lay down and die when I know I'm still functional'#'You know what? I am useful I do have something to contribute to this world THIS ISN'T FAIR'#Allowing himself to succumb to his emotions humanises him and while he hates it he can't help but feel a certain freedom for it #His bitterness just continues to consume him through his reprogramming and up until the point where he's defeated by MegaMan #Which already hurts on its own because I imagine he and Rock were close #I want to make little comics about each of Rock's encounters with his 9th gen bros and why they are each individually distressing #Someday man someday

#mmrequests #megaman #megaman 4 #skullman #you got...art attack #And again my SkullMan changes with the day #This Paintschainer (or should I say Petalica Paint as it's known now) thing is madness #I kind of love it #I'm obsessed with it now #Just plugging random linearts into the thing and seeing what they come up with #Some of the palette choices are jarring and strange but others are actually pleasing to the eye #I noticed Satsuki has trouble with black like if there's black in the work already it'll register as these weird patches #Tanpopo's work is really soft and doesn't do so well with existing patterns #Canna's work is probably the most consistent quality wise #The weird gritty patches don't happen as often and it seems to do more with colours #It's interesting stuff man #Using the colour guides definitely takes the randomness out of it I know #But it's still fun as hell #I hope this isn't considered cheating or anything #Oh god it probably is #If you want me to redo it all by hand I'll totally do it #I don't know the rules to these things argh #Let me stop rambling before I shove my foot even farther in my mouth
