So, admittedly I'm not as into the community as I was (the only real interaction I've had was a dev stream where I donated saying the dev was inspirational for working on a game with ADHD abd they all but discouraged me from doing the same which. Gee thanks), but from what I've gathered bbu's gotten delayed? I recall it was supposed to come out last year. And I occasionally scroll the tag and what I see that isn't fandom posting is just concept art? And talk of sequels and tie-ins despite the game not being out? And I recall a while ago there was controversy about Barnaby's va but idk if that ever went anywhere.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, y'all who've stuck with the game, are any of y'all worried? Or is my outsider perspective inaccurate?

I've been here for a hot minute now and the most recent update, as far as development, was about half a year ago, the last time they posted their monthly journal update. They did about three of those before they just stopped doing it. Depending on who you ask, the Black Gryph0n shit is either what made them abandon the game entirely, or is completely false, but the truth is that the whole thing is relatively inconclusive, although all I can gather from documentation is that Black Gryph0n said some dumb shit that made him look bad, and hasn't really done anything illegal.

As for the game, there was some mix-up a couple of months earlier when a trailer came out at some game fest that indicated the game would come out in 2025. It wasn't confirmed til around Christmas that that deadline would not be met. Last thing I heard, there was stuff getting cut from the game, something the devs actually confirmed. Other than that, radio silence. On the fan end of thing, there were attempts at canceling a few notable individuals, including myself, and some trollish behavior from certain individuals trying to make people quit the fandom, ya know, typical toxic fandom bullshit that not even BBU is immune to. Mostly, I think people are just bored and teetering on the brink of feeling like the game is never gonna come out.

WOOPWOOP! Our trolls go on a dungeon crawler styled adventure! Bee knows her herbs and spices, she can be the healer and cook. She's the happy and motherly support, always in a good mood. She's having lots of fun being on this adventure! Warchief is the one with the muscles, he'll be the berserking fighter. He also acts as the leader ((he has some knowledge of the dungeon)). He too enjoys the adventure although only when he gets to fight monsters and break things. Sneak is the acrobatic rogue! He can detect and disarm traps ((he often has to warn big boy Warchief about pressure plates)), he picks locks and can sniff out hidden treasures. Sneak is not enjoying the adventure! He wants to go home and hates how reckless Warchief can be ((and he thinks Bee is annoyingly positive)). What do you think, besties? We doing this? ૮₍ ´ ꒳ `₎ა
