Tuna and Avocado salad
Tuna is a high-quality protein that contains almost no fat.
It has all the essential amino acids required by the body for growth and maintenance of lean muscle tissue.
Canned tuna can be a good source of heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids.
What I put in my tuna salad:
Tuna: 100 calories
Avocado: 109 calories
Onion (quarter): 11 calories
Tomato (quarter): 9 calories
Green Pepper (quarter): 7 calories
1 tbsp mayonnaise: 94 calories
(You don’t have to put mayonnaise in your tuna salad but as many people know, tuna can be very dry so the mayonnaise just gives some moisture to the salad)
If you are looking for a healthy refreshing tuna salad then this is definitely the one you should go for.
Ending the day with a beautiful, healthy salad (No I did not make the salad)
I mean just look at it, how could I not share it.
What is in the salad:
Mixed green leaves: 5 calories
Avocado: 109 calories
Grilled chicken: 165 calories
Cucumber: 16 calories
Beetroot: 59 calories
Tomatoes: 3 cherry tomatoes sliced in half = 9 calories
Corn: 177 calories
Pumpkin seeds: 143 calories
What would life be without fresh squeezed orange juice?
Orange juice is an excellent source of vitamin C which supports immune health.
What would be the healthier option? Fresh squeezed orange juice or orange juice that you can buy at a supermarket?
Supermarket orange juice has 110 calories where fresh squeezed orange juice has 62 calories.
So go get your oranges at the supermarket and start making your own fresh, healthy orange juice.
