Horrified. I walked into this bookstore today. Books-a-Million aptly named because it promotes a million backward conservative, Christian, white male, patriarchal, archaic, and incredibly offensive books and authors. When walked in there was a large display of Rob Desantis’s book of homophonic, white-bred, misogynistic, capitalistic, and oppressive rhetoric. I was disgusted. Upon Furter exploration, it got even scarier. Three rows of Bibles. It felt like I entered an evangelical consumer paradise - AKA the Twilight Zone. Don’t go there.
