Stroll on the Catwalk || Elesa [Open]
Crasher Wake let out a gleeful roar, flexing his muscles for the small circle of fans that had gathered to see the traveling ‘Wake Wrestlemania’ tour in Nimbasa City. A recent drought of challengers to the Pastoria Gym had caused Wake to go on tour showcasing his other passion - wrestling. He decided to embark on a worldwide showcase of sorts, eating up the remainder of his vacation days to challenge many people and Pokemon from all regions. He beat Chuck in Cianwood City, a Zangoose is Lavaridge Town, the Fighting Dojo Masters of Saffron City, and now he was struggling to beat his own Quagsire in Nimbasa. Due to his worldwide efforts however, Wake was able to generate a lot of publicity for his image. He grinned as he prepared to fight Quagsire again, knowing that the seats at his next wrestling match would be packed.
As the small circle around Wake whooped and hollered, Wake thought about how smart he was for picking an area away from the main hubbub of town. There was a modeling show going on today, which naturally captured the entire city’s attention. To avoid traffic, Wake had to stage his wrestling event away from the hall, explaining why attendance was down a little today. Still, the crowd surrounding Wake cheered him on as he tried to bring Quagsire to the ground.
However, Quagsire was having none of it this round. Letting out a determined cry, before the Gym Leader could shout “Cheater!”, the Pokemon let loose a Water Gun that Wake quickly rolled away from. However, the crowd let out a huge gasp as the water spray arched towards a very well-dressed passerby, effectively soaking her.
You could hear a pin drop. Wake and Quagsire stopped and stared, while the crowd exploded into frenzied whispers.
“Dude, Wake just totally blasted Elesa with that Water Gun!”
“Wow, that really is her! Bad timing for Crasher, lemme tell ya…”
“What is she doing here? Oh man, she’s drenched!”
As the crowd began to disperse nervously, Wake strode up to the soaked figure. “I’m very sorry about that little mishap, ma’am! Let’s just say the show got a little out of control…” Wake nodded to Quagsire, who looked ashamed. Wake fastened his gaze back onto the figure.
“Don’t worry, it’s only water! Sorry once again!”
“Quaaag…” muttered Quagsire dishearteningly, looking guility down at the ground.
Her attempts to avoid the crowd had, for the most part, been successful. No one noticed her at all. Up until an untimely water gun landed on her head and drenched her completely. The model was speechless. It seemed like most of the crowd was too, despite a few hushed whispers. Elesa wasn't sure if it was the breeze or the anger that was causing her to shiver. In a quiet rage, she turned to face the crowd and see who dared covering her in water.
One by one, the people in the crowd started to turn and leave whatever spectacle had been going on. By the end of the exodus, only two were left: a rather large man in a ridiculous get-up and a Quagsire - not one of Elesa's favorites to be sure. Just as she was about to storm over to the man and his Pokemon, they took the initiative and approached her. As they neared, the Quagsire looked incredibly apologetic, but it wasn't quite enough to dispel her temper.
“I’m very sorry about that little mishap, ma’am! Let’s just say the show got a little out of control… Don’t worry, it’s only water! Sorry once again!”
At that, her shivering increased. "O-Only water?!" the blonde practically shouted. "You may have fried my headphones, my hair's going to frizz, I'm going to have to change right away and postpone my walk! I worked hard for this time off!" Her hands balled up into fists as her posture became rigid. "Do you even know who I am?!" If Wake hadn't fried her headphones, then the steam that MUST have been visible was coming from her ears. The blonde's jaws clenched as she tried to formulate the rest of her complaint, but she was starting to see red.
So instead, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath to regain her composure. Her posture loosened even though her brow remained furled. Elesa hoped that she'd managed to reign in her temper before she worried or scared the man. Opening her eyes, she also realized it would have been a bad idea to make him angry. The model pursed her lips at him a moment before she changed her line of questioning. She took a moment to look behind him at the area they had been occupying before to see the fliers and an occasional poster that said 'Crasher Wake.' That was what she heard one of the spectators say, so it must have been his name.
"Crasher Wake," she said flatly, trying not to let her temper resurface. Elesa blinked a few times at the strange name that escaped her lips. Either his parents didn't love him very much, or the name was a stage name. She had a little bit of experience with those sorts of things and his attire screamed, 'Don't wear me in public.' "What could possibly bring you out to Nimbasa City dressed like that? What were you DOING having your Quagsire use that attack in the middle of the streets?" Although it felt like her fury was returning, her curiosity started to take over and the model put her hand on her hip. "And for that matter, why were all of these people watching?"
