i forgot i had tumblr uhhh
this where i got on the master playlist, yes i also finished arc 2 and as you can see yuna is my favorite character ever
so uhh here’s some short thoughts bout arc 2
I was so surprised with magireco, i started watching the game and i didnt expect i would get SO ENGAGED with it, nor it would stick with me for 2 whole ass years.
I could go on a total ramble about it, but i’ve watched, like, 1500 videos so far, so it’s best i just limit myself.
I really liked arc 1, but arc 2 elevated the story to a new plane. they tied the downfall of the magius with two doubts i had once arc 1 finished: what about the girls who clung to the WoM so badly in order to attain salvation? and what about those from other towns whom where afflicted by the downfall of witches? and the answers where given to me in the form of the Neo Magius and the Promised Blood.
i loved how Iroha had to face so many people that conflicted her own ideals and yet she didn’t budge: if anything she managed to learn from it and take everyone under her wing.
i just LOVE how iroha is, plainly, like kanagi said, stupidly foolish, a goody two shoes.
and i loved how each faction showed a different side of the magical girl struggles: desiring salvation and being known, wanting to express their superiority, getting your own wishes abused, fighting for your life everyday and no one knowing about it.
and i also loved the focus on the east west tensions in a way that still gives you hope for
another thing i loved was the contrast between Kagome and Folklore of 0 (one wanted to keep spreading the truth while the other resigned to their fate), but also how she thinks that the real culprit behind the contracts isnt just Kyubey, but how society acts.
all in all arc 2 was heavier than expected.
And also yes, as i said, Yuna is my fave and i love IroYuna, but YunaJuri too
