Awaiting For My Accompaniment

Crowds coming from vast variety of locations

Clerks handing them their tickets to let them see

My heart pounding as I build my foundations

Anxious to share to the world the voice of me

Seconds thoughts, but I can’t back down

Reminding myself that this was my ultimate dream

Practicing for this since I was born into my town

Blessed with family and friends, my true team

A single light shinning on that massive stage

The theater in utter silence ready to hear

Approaching, ready to break away from my cage

Ready to fill everyone with emotion, in hope to bring them to at least a single tear

Only now, I await for the orchestra to begin

The conductor moves his baton very slowly

Music plays, hearing and feeling all within

My mouth moves, the words I sing, our holy

In woah I stood, second guessing if this was real

I sung to the audience as if I was sharing my inner soul

All that was held back from my past, I was here to reveal

I sung a song of the love that she stole

Every word said, they we’re all the puzzle pieces of who I am and what I went through

Years of preparation and experience that helped me pursue this

My voice started off soft and it then gradually grew louder

Now very certain, I was living what if I did not do, I would forever miss

As the last note was played, cheers and whistles followed

A smile beaming from my face and I took a bow

My entire body shaking and every feeling was Internalized and wallowed

My dreams and fears were overcame this day

Ready for the future and life that was destined to come

Never shall I again, let people and things make singing my delay

The only thing I’ll ever wait for now is the playing of my accompaniment.

Those Three Life Changing Words

My darling I must warn you of the sad, sad truth

I’m not the same as I was from the beginning

Brokenness was infected in my heart from my early youth

Leading me to a path of taking what I got, and ended up sinning

Every time I opened back up, I was left with just a broken heart and the memories of everything I did wrong

All of the words I could of said, all the things I should of done

My past, it gave me the courage and strength to write this song

I will forever keep dreaming of the day, the day when shes finally introduce into my story
