Heads up, the next chapter of A Dream Come True will probably be a few more days. I have most of it written but I've been struggling to put the finishing touches on it. Low engagement with the previous chapter hasn't helped with my motivation either. I'm hoping to have it done by Sunday ish though, and I'll post an update if that changes <3

On behalf of fanfiction writers everywhere:

If you have thoughts on a fic you read, please leave a comment if you can! The author can't know how you feel if you don't tell them. Besides, if you say nothing you let the bots speak on your behalf! In one week I've already gotten these two comments, and even knowing they're just bots, even with people who *do* comment on my fics, it's still upsetting to see. I can't *imagine* how crushing they would be for a new author who doesn't realize that they're bots. And without honest comments from actual readers to balance it out, I can easily see people giving up on sharing their work because of things like this:
