VERONICA & JUGHEAD, Riverdale (7x16)
The Existential Joy of Jughead
In July of 2015, Archie Comics relaunched its brand with a fantastic new series written by Mark Waid with art by Fiona Staples, two brilliant comic creators with more awards than Archie Andrews has had awkward dates. This “new,” “contemporary yet classic” take on the Archie stable of characters remains a confoundingly entertaining, touching, exuberant, and entertaining series. Both Archie Comics and the creators behind the new series seem dedicated to telling wonderful stories about youth in America, about good people trying to be good, and the wacky shenanigans that can result from the best of intentions. The art, changing hands frequently from Staples to Veronica Fish to Joe Eisma, is consistently relatable, endearing, and empathy-inducing, even for characters that have been around since 1941. Breaking News: Mark Waid is good (and by that,I mean he is a legend and might be the greatest writer of superhero comics to ever live but WHATEVER).
When Jughead #1 debuted in October of the same year with a similar rebooting philosophy, I found myself instantly in love. While it may have seemed incongruous to have the artist from the hilarious, observant, poignant yet decidedly R-rated Sex Criminals, Chip Zdarsky, to write the very PG-rated world of Riverdale teenagers, his acerbic wit and gleeful celebration of an idiosyncratic life is a perfect fit for Archie’s Best Pal. Combined with the charming and one-of-a-kind art of Unbeatable Squirrel Girl artist Erica Henderson, Jughead has been a hilarious and imaginative take on comics’ most notorious eater of hamburgers. Zdarsky and Henderson’s run saw Jughead fight the good fight for proper school lunches, imagine himself time-traveling-while-grounded, and even declare his own asexuality. While the mountains of food and fantastical daydreaming led to an altogether more freewheeling and sillier book than its sister titles, the latter revelations (or long overdue declaration) of Jughead’s disinterest in romantic entanglements provided some unexpected poignancy to the book.
However, it is one thing for a character to make such a declaration, but developing that feature into a compelling story is another. Chip Zdarsky had the vision to make Jughead’s asexuality a known quantity in the Riverdale Universe, but it fell on the (very tall) shoulders of Ryan North to make readers see how such a young man would function in that world, how he could love his friends very deeply, just not be in love with any of them. The story actually begins with Jughead meeting what could be considered his dream girl: a girl with a cheeseburger for a head. Well, it’s a young lady dressed in a hamburger mascot costume working at Pop’s Chok’lit Shoppe in an attempt to advertise Pop’s scrumptious wares.
Jughead, of course, hits it off immediately with the anthropomorphized object of his culinary desire and she with him because he actually treats her with respect and dignity. After all, this unique wonder, this Human Sized Hamburger, is the most beautiful unique thing in the world. Like a glimpse at a previously unknown work of Vermeer or a newly discovered species of deep-sea fish, Sabrina-as-Burger-Mascot is a wonder to behold. Then she takes her head off. Jughead is now forced to deal with her as a person, take into account her feelings, to deal with his own emotions when it comes to friendship, romance, and dating. He cares for Sabrina, wants her to be happy, but even with drafting in his friends to help, he can do nothing but cause chaos in both of their lives. His choice of Relationship Consigliere is dubious, however, as asking Archie Andrews to help with one’s dating life is as good an idea as asking the Incredible Hulk to assist in composing a Shakespearean sonnet. Still, Jughead does his best, and his utter failure at romance, going against his own natural instincts, results in some remarkably hilarious madcap antics. The madness is assisted by the magical interference of Sabrina when she mistakes Jughead’s haplessness for indifference (or even malice).
Because this is Riverdale, of course, even the powers of witchcraft, fast food, and teenage awkwardness cannot keep two good friends apart. Jughead comes to the very real, very mature realization that it is hard to communicate emotions he knows the other person will not and cannot be feeling. Not only that, but he must somehow comprehend how to process the emotions of others that he is incapable of feeling, all while making the other party feel loved and accepted. It’s a tall order for anyone, but with Ryan North’s insightful writing and hilarious joke-telling, along with Derek Charm’s adorable characters and delicious depictions of Pop’s cuisine, we can believe in Jughead’s journey. Imagine that, an Archie character with a completed arc. It’s pretty great.
Jughead’s asexuality also has an affect on his relationship with his best friend and walking teen hormone faux pas, Archie Andrews. Both friends only want what is best for the other, but their mutual bafflement at the other’s behavior sometimes brings them into conflict. During Zdarsky’s run, this manifested in the pair venturing on an oft-visited trope in the world of Archie Comics: a camping trip during the eternal Riverdale Summer (between the eternal Riverdale School Years). Archie sees girls and must peruse them because he is Archie and must cause chaos. Jughead sees Archie pursue girls, rather than his best friend and a good meal, and cannot help by feel rejected. It is really up to Jughead to forgive his best friend his boorish behavior, both to Jughead himself and to Betty and/or Veronica… because Archie is never not dating one of them, so the mere fact that he is trying to flirt with women he meets in the woods is a disaster of double-quarter-pounder-with-cheese-level proportions waiting to happen. It is only through their mutual willingness to understand one another, to love each other for their differences, that the two friends are able to emerge from the ordeal with their friendship stronger than ever.
When this susceptibility for misunderstanding collides with modern technology, and the Archie Gang at large, it only results in disaster for all of Riverdale. After the Awkwardness Avalanche of trying to date Sabrina, Ryan North pens a tale of video game bets gone awry and viral video shenanigans that is as on-point a commentary on Internet culture as it is a poignant tale of youthful friendship. It provides some unexpected pathos from perpetual antagonist Reggie Mantle, as well as Jughead bending over backwards to try to please his friends but only making things worse. After all, what brings Internet mockery faster than unrestrained, genuine earnestness? And of course, the denizens of Riverdale are nothing if not earnest, even Jughead, who can fawn over the condensation on the glass containing his milkshake.
Our titular character might cultivate an image of aloofness, might want others to believe he is not to be swayed by emotions, but this is only to make himself feel safe, to make his peers feel as if he is unhurt by the many pricks he kicks against. In fact, he is deeply affected by how his friends feel. Not romantically, surely, but in a way that makes him eternally loyal to the people he cares about. Hell, in the brilliant (and non-canonical) Afterlife With Archie, he enlists Sabrina’s help in raising his dog from the dead, thereby ushering in the zombie apocalypse. Jughead defies to laws of God and the Universe to save his dog! Even more remarkable, in the main Jughead title, he invites Internet ridicule just to make his friends feel better! If only everyone had a friend willing to sacrifice so much, so determined to live a joyful life, as Jughead Jones.
Jughead is currently available in two trade paperback collections. Both are highly recommended.
Cute you got your hopes up tho :]
Hickeys (Jughead x Reader)
Prompt: Hi! :) I absolutely adore your blog and I was wondering if you could do a Jughead x Reader oneshot where the the reader has a hickey and Veronica points it out so everyone is teasing her all day to find out who it’s from and they eventually realize it was Juggie? Thank you <3
A/N: Sorry if it’s not as good as you thought it would be! (It’s literally 3am here and I feel like banging my head against the wall. I literally haven’t slept in so long dear god.)
Masterlist
Warnings: Swearing? Mentions of hickeys. Jug’s a little shit.
Hickeys (Jughead x Reader)
Beep. Beep. Beep.
“Shit. Juggie, Wake up!” You push yourself off your bed and glance at your sleeping boyfriend.
He just groans and rolls over.
“No. We have school today and you have to get up! We’re gonna be late.” You grab his arm and tug.
He tugs back, pulling you against his chest. “A few more minutes, (Y/n).” He leans down and kisses down your jaw.
You let out a whimper as he nibbles down your neck, leaving hickeys along the way.
“Fine.”

Jughead Jones x Reader - Prom? (FLUFF)
((AN: hey, guys. I’m running out of inspiration so if anyone wants to request, please do!))
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“So guys..!” Veronica’s voice trails from across the lunch table. “The dance is coming up! Who’s going with who?” The sound was laced with evil. Veronica was the only one who knew about your crush on Jughead, though everyone else knew his for you. “Archiekins?” Your eyes turn to watch the red head scratch his neck nervously. He glanced over at Valerie who was sat with the other Pussycats. It was enough of a gesture for everyone to understand. A smug smile spread across V’s face as she slung her arm around Betty. “Well, B and I will slay you two for sure!” She jibes. It went without question that her and Betty would go together and Kevin would tag along.
“So, (y/n)! Who are you going with?” All eyes turn to you, causing you to miss Jughead tensing up next to you. “Um… Jake asked me once…” Jughead’s knuckles turned white. “And Tom asked me too, though that was probably a bet.” At this point, all the raven haired boy could see was red. He was furious. “Ooh, get you! Who did you say yes to?” Veronica asked, almost amused by how unsubtle the boy was being. “I didn’t… I told them I wasn’t going.” Now this caught his attention. For the first time since the lunch bell rang, Jughead looked up from his laptop to stare at you. “So you’re telling me that the hottest jocks in school asked you out and you said no? Whatever for.?” V smirked, knowing she was pushing you. “You waiting on the right guy?” Laughing, you flick your (h/c) locks over your shoulder and roll your eyes. “Whatever you say, V. What about Jug? He hasn’t answered yet.” You reply, redirecting the attention away from you. His long fingers had returned to the keys of his laptop, his eyes desperately trying to look anywhere but at you. “I know!” Veronica exclaimed, a devious smile toying with her features. “Why don’t (y/n) and Jughead go together! As friends, of course.” Though the last bit was more of a whisper.
You cast your (e/c) eyes over to your crush, someone not seeing the deep red colour creeping up his pale neck. Jughead swallowed hard before snapping out “Yeah, right. I’m not going. She can go with a jock.” His words were harsh and cruel. Taken aback, you silently turn and leave the table, suppressing tears.
Why is he so mean to me? What did I ever do? Your thoughts were interrupted by a black haired girl running after you, calling your name. Seeing your tears, she sighed softly and pulled you into a hug. “I’m so sorry, sweetie. He doesn’t mean it, you know that.” She comforted but her words didn’t feel true. Not to you. “Meet me at pops later, okay? My treat.” And with that, she turned on her heel and marched away, leaving you to calm down.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Jughead Jones the third! What the hell was that?” Her voice was bubbling with anger as she slammed her manicured hand down on the table in front of him. The beanie-clad boy jumped slightly before closing his laptop lid. “You like her so why do you keep making her feel horrible?” She demanded. “I… I don’t know. It just came out.” He confessed. His hazel eyes were filled with sorrow and regret, for once showing his actual emotion. “She’s coming to Pop’s tonight with me. Make it up to her.” And once again, she left.

From: V💋 To: (y/n/n)✨ 6:30pm, dress nice. U deserve a break. Xx
You read the text message and furrowed your eyebrows in confusion.
It’s only Pop’s… I guess I should go along with it.
You slipped on a short (f/c) dress, pulled your hair into a simple bun and painted your lips a deep red. You had to admit, you looked pretty good. The clock on the wall read 6:15pm and so, with a final check in the mirror, you set off for the diner.
The neon sign outside could be seen for miles, despite the sun already setting in the foggy sky. You pushed the door open, the chime of a bell alerting V to your arrival. Ordering your usual chocolate milkshake, you wander over to her smiling. “You look amazing!” She grinned, looking you up and down. “Just stay here, okay? I’ve gotta take care of something.” Like smoke, she whisked herself away without a sound.
Closing your eyes, you leant back in the faux leather seats. All memories of the incident with Jughead leaving your mind. Something about the diner always made you feel better. When you opened your eyes again, your milkshake was placed in front of you on a white plate. The ceramic had been scribed on with chocolate sauce in the word: PROM? Cocking your head in confusion, you scanned the room for any clues of who this could have been. Surely it couldn’t have been Veronica. She had two ‘dates’ already!
Your (e/c) eyes close, your nose scrunched up in thought.
Who? Who could’ve done this? Thin, (y/n), think!
“Don’t think too hard.” A raspy voice floated through your ears. “You’ll pop! And then how are you gonna answer me?” With that, you snap your eyes wide open. Sat in front of you, liking cream off of the cherry of your shake, was the one and only Jughead Jones. On his face, a vaguely amused smile. “You..?” You ask, your voice coming out as more of a whisper. He sighed and you could see regret swimming behind his eyes. “Look, (y/n). I’m sorry I was such an idiot earlier. I snapped because… well, I like you. And honestly, you’d be better off with a jock than a weirdo like me.” Your heart felt like it was going to burst as it pounded in your ears. A grin etched itself onto your features, letting out a scoff at his comment. “Jughead Jones the third, I would be honoured to go to prom with you!”
Without warning, you stood and moved to his side of the booth. Not hesitating, you flung your arms around his neck and squeezed tight. “I’ve liked you for so long, Jug. Thank you.” In a moment of complete not-Jughead-ness, he pulled you closer to his chest and wrapped his arms around you. He rested his chin on your soft (h/c) hair, absentmindedly smiling to himself.
Unknown to the pair of you, Veronica stood outside the window. A satisfied smile on her face, she clapped her hands together. Her ship had sailed.
jealous? [jughead jones x reader]
Request : Can you please write an ×-reader where Archie Andrews asks out the reader by singing outside her house, but Jughead is with her and they’re in a secret relationship and Jughead gets jealous.
Summary : You and Jughead were enjoying your time together, but got interrupted by a certain redhead playing a song outside your house for you.
“I love you.” You said out of the blue.
Jughead was shocked by your statement. He stayed silent for a few seconds, no expression on his face. You were pretty scared that you said it to fast, but you managed to calm down a bit when he smiled and looked down, with a tint of pink in his cheeks. You knew that Juggie wasn’t that type of boyfriend, he wasn’t such a big fan of PDA, but this was different.
You were in your room with him. You’ve been dating for three weeks now and it was a secret. You weren’t ready yet to come clean to the world about your relationship, so the only time you two were affectionate was when you were alone in a room. Or not in public.
“I love you too.” He said, making you smile.
You gave him a sweet kiss, that turned into a make out session. But all that was interrupted when a familiar voice started singing outside your balcony.
“This song wasn’t supposed to be a sappy one, but I can’t it, I like more than anyone.” That angelic voice. It was Archie. “Wanna test that theory?” Jughead said, hearing the lyrics, as he jumped from your bed, but you caught his arm. “Stay here.” You said, and went to the balcony, where Archie was still singing. “Oh and when you smile, my heart flutters and it kinda stops for a while…” You chuckled at that lyric, and Archie’s smile grew when he saw you. He listed a few more things that he likes about you, and then he stopped. You frowned. “So, Y/N… Will you go out with me?” He smiled.
Oh. Oh boy. You told him to come up, since you were home alone and have been friends with Archie since fifth grade, he knew where you had a spare key. You told Jughead to hide in the bathroom, who by the way, had steam coming out of his ears.
“Y/N? Can I come in?” You heard Archie knocking. You opened the door and smiled as you both sat on the bed. “That’s the cutest thing anyone has ever done to me.” You said. “But… I am already dating someone.” You added. “You… You are?” Archie raised his brow. “Why are you so surprised?” You laughed, playfully hitting him in the arm. “I haven’t seen you with a boy.” He said. “It’s kind of a secret.” You shrugged. “But, you are an amazing person and you’d make the best boyfriend. I’m sure of it!” You smiled. “Thanks. I just wished I knew sooner so I wouldn’t be so embarrassed now.” He said, making you chuckle. “Don’t worry, it’s all good.” You said, as he sat up. “But… may I ask who’s the lucky one?” He turned to you, before heading out the door. “Still a secret.” You booped his nose.
You walked him to the door, reassuring him that it’s all good, and apologized for letting him down. You just both hoped that things wouldn’t get awkward.
After he had left, you saw a furious Jughead coming down the stairs.
“What’s up with you?” You raised your brows, but he only shrugged.
Wait a bit. Was he acting like that because he was… No… It couldn’t be…Could it? Was Jughead Jones… Jealous? You smiled at that thought, and headed to the kitchen, where he was getting a glass of water. You gave him a hug from behind, and smiling you said,
“I love you and only you.” He loosened up a little at your words. “You little jealous shit.”
First Date - Jughead Jones Imagine
Fandom: Riverdale
Pairing: Jughead x Reader
I woke up with a smile on my face, today is the day. The day where I finally go on a date with the boy I’ve been crushing on since forever. I hear my phone ringing so I pick it up from my nightstand and unlock it. There’s million messages from my best friends Veronica and Betty in our group chat, they’re almost as excited about my date as I am.
Veronica: Y/NNN WHEN DO WE COME TO GET YOU READY?!?!
Betty: Calm down Veronica, you’ll scare the girl😁
Veronica: I can’t calm down, it’s a big day. Y/N WHERE ARE YOU?! WAKE UP!!
Betty: Jesus Veronica..
Me: I’M HEEREE!
Veronica: FINALLY!
Me: And to answer your question, come here around 3pm, our date starts at 5pm
Veronica: Deal. CAN’T WAIT!
Betty: Jughead just texted me, he said that he’s really nervous about your date😍 He wants everything to be perfect. I quote “I want everything to be perfect for her, I waited so long for this.”
Veronica: Awwww cutsiees❤❤
I read Betty’s text and smile really wide, I can’t believe Jughead said that, he’s so cute. I get back to text my girls.
Me: I’m sure Archie will calm him down, I’m so happy I can’t believe he said that❤😶
Betty: Of course he said that, he had a crush on you since God knows when. That’s what Archie told us
Veronica: Awwww
Me: I’m gonna get breakfast, I’ll see you girls at 3😘
Betty and Veronica: See ya!😙
I put the phone down and lay back down on my bed. Jughead Jones. I fell for a guy who wears his beanie 24/7, a sarcastic writer who likes to solve mysteries. A guy who’s father is part of a gang, a guy who I know will do anything for me. I’m falling, and I’m falling hard.
————
I listen to music while I wait for Veronica and Betty to come when suddenly my door opens and Veronica bursts in with Betty behind her.
“Y/N get your ass up we need to get you ready!” V says throwing her bag on my bed.
“Well hello to you too.” I say taking my headphones off.
“Hi Y/N. I’m sorry for her, it’s like she ate way too much sugar.” Betty says and hugs me while I chuckle.
“It’s alright. Honestly I was that excited when she and Archie hooked up.” I grin, “V why don’t you sit for a minute?”
“Yeah maybe I should.” She says and hugs me too before sitting on the bed.
“So what did you guys plan?” Betty asks me sitting on the chair opposite from me and Veronica.
“He just told me to meet him at Pop’s at 5pm.” I say smiling.
“Alright. Let’s see what you’re gonna wear.” Veronica says clapping her hands and standing up, walking towards my wardrobe, “Casual or girly?”
“Casual, I mean we’re going to Pop’s.” I say and Betty nods agreeing with me.
“Alright..hm..” Black haired girl looks through my clothes and throws some things out, mostly at my head. Betty laughs as I give her a look, “Ha! Try these.” V says giving me a white crop top with golden LA letters written on it and light skinny jeans. I leave the room to change and come back in. Both girls stand up cheering like I won a lottery.
“That’s the one, now let’s do your hair and makeup.” Betty says pushing me in the chair in front of my mirror. She gets out everything she needs and turns me around so I can’t see myself, only her and Veronica, “Something lighter, right?” She asks and I nod.
We talk about many things while Betty does my makeup and when she finishes she turns me around and I smile when I see myself. She put some white and pink eyeshadow with eyeliner, mascara, little blush and light pink lip gloss. It’s simple but beautiful, just like I need it.
“Thank you Betty it’s amazing.” I smile and hug her.
“Now hair! Do you trust me?” Veronica asks and I roll my eyes smiling.
“With my life.” I wink and she grins. I sit back down on the chair and let her do her magic. More talking and laughing followed and I really enjoyed getting ready with these girls.
“Done!” Veronica says after a while and turns me around.
“Wow V! It’s amazing, thank you!” I say hugging her and looking back at the mirror again. She curled my hair and put one part of my hair in a high ponytail leaving the rest of it to fall free on my back, “I really have no idea what I would do without you too.” I say and we smile and have a group hug.
“It’s time to go.” I sigh nervously.
“Don’t be nervous Y/N. Both of you wanted this for a long time, you’ll have amazing time.” Betty says and I smile and nod. A knock on the door interrupts us and my mom comes in.
“Hey Y/N..wow honey you look stunning. Jughead is a lucky guy.” She says and I smile again, “Anyways your father and I are leaving in an hour on our vacation. Are you sure you’ll be alright all alone for a week?” She asks.
“Of course I will mom, I’m a big girl.” I grin.
“We’ll always here if she needs anything and our parents.” Veronica reassures my mom and she nods.
“Alright then. Well have fun on your date, call me tomorrow and be careful.” Mom says hugging me and kissing my forehead.
“I will, don’t worry.” I say and she leaves my room. I put on my white converse and look at my two girls.
“Sleepover this week?” I ask grinning.
“For sure! Now let’s go! You don’t want to be late.” Veronica says and I smile kissing their cheeks. I say goodbye to my parents and leave my house.
“Let us know how it went, have fun!” Betty says sitting in Veronica’s car.
“Will do. Bye and thank you!” We wave and they leave. I sit in my own car and drive to Pop’s.
————
I enter the Pop’s and spot Jughead sitting in one of the booths. He looks up and spots me as I make my way towards him, I can see his eyes widening a bit so I bite my cheek to stop myself from smiling.
“Hey Jug.” I greet him and he stands up to hug me. He looks handsome as always with his beanie, gray shirt, jacket and jeans.
“Hey Y/N. You look amazing.” He says and I smile sitting in the seat in front of him.
“Thank you, you don’t look so bad yourself.” I grin and he chuckles thanking me too, “Were you waiting for me long?” I ask worried that he was sitting here alone for a long time.
“No no, don’t worry, I arrived here like ten minutes ago. Anyways what can I order for you?” He asks waving for a waiter.
“Chocolate milkshake for me please.” I smile to the guy and he nods.
“Same for me.” Jug says and waiter leaves to get us our milkshakes.
“So are you good living with Archie?” I ask brown haired boy.
“Yeah they’re nice and I have everything I need.” Jughead replies and I smile again. I notice that he’s fumbling with his fingers which means he’s nervous, I want to take his hand in mine but waiter brought us our milkshakes and we thanked him. Jughead is still nervous so I reach over and take his hand and he looks at our hands and smiles.
Two of us sat there for a while holding hands, drinking our milkshakes, talking and laughing and I’m honestly happier than I was in a long time. I can’t help but think how lucky I am that guy like Jughead likes me back. I love him but I won’t tell him, I don’t want to scare him away, especially not now.
“How’s your story going?” I ask him and his eyes got that special sparkle that I adore. He starts telling me about his story and I can’t wipe the smile of my face as I watch him talk about things he loves. He has that soft smile on his lips, sparkle in his eyes and I can’t stop starring at him.
“I’m sorry, I’m probably boring you with talking that much, I just get carried away when I talk about something I like.” He says and brings me back out of my trance.
“No no no, don’t stop, it’s one of the reasons I fell in love with you in the first place.” I smile but as soon as I realized what I said my eyes got wide, “I mean that’s why I started liking you..ah shit.” I bury my head in my arms. Great Y/N, you probably ruined everything, now he’s gonna be freaked out and think you’re some kind of weirdo and he’s gonna run away….But instead of running away as I thought he would, he grabbed my arms and made me look at him. He’s smiling from ear to ear looking at me.
“I love you too.” He says simply and I stare at him for a few moments before a grin spread across my face.
“Really?” I ask and he chuckles nodding.
“Yes Y/N, really. What’s not to love, I could go on and on about all the things I love about you but I won’t stop talking for days.” Jug says with that perfect smile on his face and I blush and grin like a little girl on Christmas morning. And now with the boost of confidence I lean over the table and kiss him on lips. He doesn’t hesitate so he kisses me back immediately putting one hand on my cheek. After we pulled away we stared at each other with lovestruck looks on our faces.
“Do you maybe want to go to my place? Watch a movie or something, we can order pizza. My parents are out of town.” I ask shyly.
“Sure, I could use some pizza.” Brown haired boy grins and I mimic his actions.
“Okay let’s go. I drive!” I grab his hand and pull him out of the diner after he paid for our milkshakes.
————
I’m snuggled into Jugheads shoulder and he wrapped his arm around me as we watch ‘The Bone Collector’. We ate our pizza and I brought us two blankets so we can be warm.
“I love this movie.” I say as the credits started rolling, signaling the end of the movie.
“Yeah it’s really intense.” He agrees with me and I look up at him. I reach up and take his beanie off. He looks down at me but doesn’t say anything, just smiles.
“I love you.” He says and I smile really wide, I really love these three words leaving his mouth. His voice is one of the best sounds in this world and hearing him say that to me makes my heart flutter.
“I love you too.” I reply and he leans down to kiss me, sending shivers down my spine. His lips fits perfectly with mine, like their made for each other. I can feel fireworks exploding in my stomach as our kiss depends.
“There’s just one thing left to do for this day to be perfect.” Jughead says after we pulled away to catch our breaths.
“And what is that?” I ask.
“You to become my girlfriend.” He smiles softly and I peck his lips.
“Then I am your girlfriend.” I say and he kisses me again quickly, making me laugh into the kiss.
“I think it’s time for me to go.” Jug says after he noticed me yawning. He starts to get up from the couch but I grab his hand stopping him.
“Will you stay the night? Please?” I ask him softly, looking at him with my puppy dog eyes.
“How can I say no to those eyes.” He says leaning down to kiss my forehead. I get up and take his hand, leading him to my bedroom. I give him my dad’s sweats and one of mine bigger shirts that are way to big for me to wear. I change into my pj’s, take off my makeup and lose my hair and lay down in my bed, Jughead next to me. I put my head on his chest and wrap my arm around his torso as he wraps his arms around me, kissing my temple before turning the lights off.
“Thank you for today, I had an amazing time.” I whisper.
“Me too. I’m really glad we’re finally together.” He whispers back.
“Goodnight Juggie, I love you.” I say feeling peaceful in his arms.
“Goodnight princess, I love you too.” He says back and that night I fall asleep with a smile on my face. This is the best day of my life.

A/N: I kinda make things where you insert yourself so I’ll still do that with the hair. I made if short and sweet since I couldn’t really think of a plot. Thank you for requesting. Hope you enjoy.
