Hello there, I’m Steven Grant Rogers, but you can call me Steve or Stevie!
I was born in 1918, but in 1943, while training for the army, I somehow got transported to the future. So yeah, trying to get used to everything newfangled around here. Good news, there seems to be some improved aides to the health issues I’ve dealt with all my life. I’m still not perfect, but life is a little easier. I’m an artist who hopes to have my own studio one day, and I managed to land a job as an art teacher since coming here. Currently living in a small, rented cabin right outside the city. That place got so much louder… Oh, also, if you saw me fighting someone in an alley—no, you didn’t.
Recently rescued a pup. Meet Charcoal!:
Anyways, feel free to drop in and say hi. I’d love to find some friends around here.

Mod is 20+, but SFW interactions only please!
This Steve is straight and open to relationships. Multiple ones are fine, I’ll just play them as alternate universes. Mod is audhd and that might work its way into Steve’s personality. Mod is also Christian and not comfortable with doing certain themes and may choose to not respond to things pertaining to such.
Setting this after Bucky left for England, but before he became Cap. Also for the sake of the vibe, no serum of any kind shall come anywhere near him. He’s perfect as he is. I may do some set in the past, but I will make a note of when I do so. Also, some posts will be in the form of journal entries. Just his way of coming to terms with and making sense of his new world. :)

“Yeah, people drink it like any other drink. Not sure how they figured out it helps a cranky stomach…” He suddenly gets a little more alert. “Oh wait… you can’t, can you?”
//starting tomorrow I will be going on a little summer vacation for two weeks. I won’t be fully absent, but may be a little more inactive than usual. Feel free to send anything or tag me in anything and I’ll get to it when I can!
Steve had been relatively quiet since she last saw him at the art exhibit. He stayed busy on the outside, but on the inside, there was an eerie silence. He seemed almost disconnected from himself. Tonight was different though. As soon as he got home from work, he curled up on the couch, his emotions and inner thoughts swarmed around him.

She heard the door shut and a quiet sigh escape from him as a sharp pain smacked her temple as she spotted his uncertain expression.
"You okay?" She asked softly, touching his shoulder. "There's...an unease about you.."
“Just feeling conflicted I guess. Got offered a chance at possibly going back to ‘43. Part of me wants to ‘cause that’s the life I’m used to. The other part, not so much, and I’m not too sure why, exactly.”
He finally uncurls a little to look at her. “You’re right. Maybe this is where I’m meant to be. I should just go with it and see where it takes me, huh?” He smiles a little even though his eyes are still sad.
Steve sat atop a building with a perfect view of the fireworks. It wasn’t the building he and Bucky used to claim for the special night, and this one, he was allowed access. Somehow the not sneaking around took a little bit of fun out of it. That, and he was alone this time. He looked down over the city. It had changed so much. It was bigger, brighter, and louder than it was the last time he did this. He closed his eyes, remembering the sweet memories before everything changed. Before the war, before he said goodbye to Bucky, before he got sent here. A flash and a boom started him out of his dreaming, and he opened them again to see the first fireworks of the night filling the sky. He smiled as he watched them, the noise blocking out the sound of someone coming to stand next to him.
Sienna sighs as she leans into the railing next to him. Her eyes shimmer a bit as she eyes the night sky, lighting up the sky with colors. "Look how beautiful it is..."
Her voice was soft as she smiles softly. "Happy birthday Steve..." She whispers out as he notices her.
He looks at her with a smile. “Hey, you. Thanks.” He looks back to the fireworks. “They are beautiful aren’t they? Think they’ve gotten better since…back then.”
“I think it’s written into my DNA at this point.” He laughs softly as he takes his seat across from her. “This place knew what they were doing choosing to stay open so late. Fireworks and pizza. Not a bad night for getting older.”
"I agree." Sienna smiles as she began to eat her slice. Watching the crowd move around as she smiles softly. "It's honestly nice to be out...plus I got to bug you." She giggles.
“That was the cherry on top,” he smiles. “I told myself I wanted to be alone because I didn’t want to be reminded of how much has changed and how left behind I feel. But, I’m glad you joined me and I’ve really enjoyed it.”
Sienna nods her head as she sighs. "No I get that. I do...I think me and Bucky would get that the most." She sighs softly as she finished up her slice.
“Yeah.” He takes his last few bites as well. “I wish I had been sent back the other way. Before everything happened to you and Bucky. When it was just us against the rest of the world. I miss that.”
Sienna nods her head as she thinks. "I agree...I agree wholeheartedly..." She thinks for a moment. "But that's fair... Maybe there would of been bouncing little ones everywhere." She jokes
