When I left my husband, I knew barely anyone. And the courts had decided I wasn't allowed to go home with my daughter. That i would be staying in the Yukon. If I tried to take her home I'd be charged with kidnapping! And was pretty much on my own. Outta hurt I made alot of stupid choices the following years. Trying to mask the hurt and ignore the pain I felt. I had a job I was passionate about, but it was a dead end. I was slipping deeper into debt and depression. I wasn't even able to take time off work for my daughter's plays or take her camping! I would cry every night wondering how much longer I could last. I felt so lost!๐ญ That's the best I can describe it. Was I was in a pit unable to ever feel whole again. As alot of you know! I run this online health and wellness business. I do it because it is a product I can stand by and be proud of ๐ We make our customers lives better! I'm going to build on, my first home!! Making it into my dream place and have an animal sanctuary ๐ฟ๐ท๐ด๐ Helping animals in need, housing them while they find a home and retiring animals that last loving place๐ป I want to teach my daughter anything is achievable if you put the effort in, you can be successful! I used to wake up just stressed! Lack of sleep and usually to being called into work because someone else didn't want to come in on my day off๐๐ญ When exactly was my weekend ๐คท๐ปโโโ I never knew because the odds of getting two days off in a row were slim to none!! Book time off ๐ yup, nope my boss was ruthless.. Trying to call me in from a music festival I booked off months in advance.. Or even family events... She didn't seem to care.. I would go into work crying because I had to close the night before and then open that morning... I was tired of allowing someone to make me miserable for 15$/hr๐ฅบ But what to do... I'll tell you what I did... Weeks before I walked in and told her where to go.. After she attempted to fire me for NOT coming in during a music festival I booked off months before! A shift she had marked off paid vacation time, that she tried to call me in for and I refused.. And forked out over 200$ to go to ๐ก๐คฌ I was pissed needless to say... And I walked out laugh-crying so hard๐คฃ๐ญ I was so happy to be rid of her... But that was then and this is now๐ Now I'm my own boss, I run my own buisness from social media! I don't have to take time off to go anywhere! I spend maybe a hour or two everyday.. Just telling people about our amazing plant based products! And making income while on the go!! Now I'm not saying quit your job... There are lots of them that just do this as a side gig, making extra cash from their social media.. This morning was tough... I woke up to an upset Atlantis crying in the bathroom. Trying to brush her tangled curly hair! Now when I say curly, I mean curly! So curly when you brush it, it fizzes like no tomorrow ๐ She's ten and really starting to pick herself apart about her looks๐ Poor kid. She truely is beautiful! Trying to get her to see what I see can be hard sometimes.. So I offered to straighten her hair... And it was a hit! She was crying because she knows she can't do it by herself. And is so used to me saying NO! I got to get ready for work hunny.. didn't want to ask!๐ช Now that I have this AMAZING JOB! I can be there for her. And I make it a point to offer! ๐ Because, that's why I took this oppertunity ๐ So I can SAY YES! When I would have said No! I can truely say I'm greatfull to have this time back, it goes so quickly! And small things like getting your hair straightened, going skating with mommy! They mean so much to her! I know your going to say maybe I could have put it off.. But what if later never comes, As it so often does! That's a missed moment! Something she will remember as an adult! While we were talking. And I'm not even kidding you! I almost cried! "Mommy I love it so much more when your around and not working all the time. (I used to be a retail shiftsupervisor) And you are way less stressed and seem happier!
