Well that question certainly caught him off guard. What kind of human asked if someone else was a human? Unless, she herself was not human either. Lilac colored eyes narrow as he stares down the girl. Should he tell her? It wasn’t like anyone was really around to hear their conversation, she had picked a pretty good time to bring this up actually. “Not really, no. I’m guessing you aren’t either because humans don’t exactly call other humans well, humans, or go around asking if someone is really human or not. You gave yourself away there.” He snorted and crossed his arms over his chest. “But what gave me away? How’d you just get the feeling that I wasn’t human? Also, it might be a bit strange but then again maybe not.”

     So her gut feeling was correct! But yeah, she probably should’ve have made a question like that so suddenly. Then again, is not like Mavis was even attempting to hide her true nature, to begin with. She was proud to show who she was, personality wise and species wise. “I wasn’t trying to pretend to be human. Not like I could go too far by trying if that was my plan, the sun is a problem.” And that’s why she didn’t move from the big shadow under the tree, even when talking to him. “I grew up surrounded by people like me. You know– non-humans. Although, I’ll admit it merely followed my gut feeling on this one.”

So she wasn’t trying to pretend to be human? Hm. He eyed her for a moment, a curious expression. At her words about the sun, it all clicked into place in his mind as to what she was. “A vampire, eh?” A smirk tugs at his lips and he reaches a hand up to tuck some of his long crimson locks behind his pointy ears, a dead giveaway of what he is, an elf of sorts, unless she wasn’t familiar with elves. Some elves hid away from some places so it might be possible she’d never really seen them but he didn’t know so he shouldn’t make assumptions. “Mm. Makes sense. Most people like us..” Supposedly mythical creature. “...Grow up around one another most the time. I did as well but I had can’t exactly go back to my home because of something I did in my past..So I’m just trying to blend in here in the human world..” Why was he telling her all this? Maybe because it’d been forever since he’d spoken to someone who was supposed to be of a species that don’t exist besides his boss, Maki, of course. “The only gut feelings I ever get are hunger. I am usually pretty oblivious to some stuff unless spelled out to me unless it’s a situation like this. I can normally some what tell when someone is different like me as well. Normally.” He chuckled and shook his head.

⌠刀⌡ As per usual the Second was oozing an aura that kept most people away, unless they were some red-headed rabbit with a death wish. So, when someone actually willingly approached him it was strange, did they not feel the aura or did they just not care? ❛What do you want?❜ The question is icy in tone as it was clear Kanda did not care for conversation if they did not need him for anything he would walk away.

Wow, not only did this dude seem super creepy standing off to himself and giving off this ‘don’t come near me, don’t talk to me.’ vibe, he was also super cold with the way he spoke. She pouted and stood right next to the male, not caring about his attitude issues. “I just wanted to tell ya that you’re scaring a buncha kids..This one little girl is crying, see!” She pointed at a little black haired girl with pigtails and then she looked back at the male. “Ya need to call that er..Vibe..? Down a bit, kay? If not those kiddies moms are gonna come at ya with their purses.” She sighed and stretched a little, her muscles a little stiff considering she had been sitting on a bench only moments before coming over to him. “What’s got ya in such a bad mood, Grumpy Pants?”

Yeah ‘cause izzy would be like “So mad at you rn” and then like two mins later be like “So when we gettin some pizza or somethin’? I’m hungry.” Back to Besties. XDD
