Summary- Sebastian likes his life, for the most part.
He only has a few weeks left of the school year. His band with Sam and Abigail is going to play a set at prom and he's working on earning enough leeway with his mom to have a fair bit of freedom that summer.
Life may be dull, but it's predictable, reasonably easy, and he's working his way towards his Master Plan for the future.
When Alex, a teenager the same age as him and his friends, moves to town five weeks before the end of junior year Sebastian figures that they'll ride the wave of 'something new' for a while and then life will settle down. Alex is clearly a jock and is immediately absorbed into the gridball team at school, so his presence in Sebastian's life is shrunk down to something small and relatively insignificant.
They run in completely different circles. They have absolutely nothing in common. There should be absolutely no reason for anything in Sebastian's life to change...

Fun Fact about yourself? I once baked cookies that slapped so hard I have to now bake desserts/cakes for every single family function. It's a delicious but tiresome burden.
How long have you been writing fanfiction? Just ticked over 3 years of publishing works but I've been writing things since I was a wee teenager for myself (definitely never wrote Dan/Phil stuff, nope…)
Favourite SDV character to write? Sebastian, my beloved! He feels so nuanced and I love exploring that with him.
Favourite tropes/genre to write? Enemies to lovers is my absolute favourite! I'm also a sucker for a bit of hurt/comfort, slow burn and mutual pining.
Your most popular SDV fanfic? The Love You Want. It was my first published SDV fic about my OC, Rosie, and I am baffled it got so much attention and is still going strong. It actually created a lot of discourse during the publishing phase with readers deep diving into Sebastian and Rosie's relationship breakdown and why it happened/how they could overcome it.
Your SDV underdog fic you wish more people would give a chance? Here For You. It's a Dad!Seb fic where he finds out he has a five-year-old daughter unexpectedly and assumes custody of her. It's sweet, sad, dark and one of my favourites I've ever written.
Hear me out: A Sebastian & Demetrius redemption arc is a must! I think there's just a lot of miscommunication and misunderstanding in their dynamic. Sebastian is an angsty "you're not my real dad!" teenager and Demetrius is content to let him do his own thing without crossing Seb's boundaries because he's got his own work and daughter to deal with. I simply adore reading about them healing and having a somewhat functional relationship!
Lastly, any other fandoms you write for? Not currently! I did used to write for another fandom and cannot bring myself to delete the fics because one has over 300k reads despite it's mediocrity as one of my first delves into writing. But once I find something to hyper-fixate on, nothing else can share the brain capacity.
