But now we are through

And it's time I move on from you

I believe you should too

In my heart you will be forever

Even though we're not together

It's time I let go of the past

I really hoped things would last

But some things just aren't meant to be

Maybe that's you and me

No sense in begging on my knees

Because there's no going back

And that's a fact

What it'd be like to have a real father

The demons I fight inside have become impossible to hide. I feel like I'm constantly in battle with my own mind.

I'm scared of facing them outside. I don't want anyone to see the truth inside me.

I know it's scary, but it's hard keeping everything hidden inside a diary.

I wish for less misery, for the past to be history. Instead, I'm stuck in the dark with no one to light my spark.

Someone who now rests in the heavens above

But I still can't believe this to be true

That I had to say goodbye to you..

A year ago today

Words could never truly say

The pain I feel on this day..

I never wanted to lose you

No matter how much we argued

Now all I have is a butterfly tattoo

That's how I chose to remember you

Something you always wanted to do..

I wish for a sign

Showing you're still by my side

That I'm not alone

No matter the feeling in my bones

I wish you were here tonight, holding me tight until daylight. This just isn't right.

I miss you so much, my dear. I just want you near.

I feel so much fear inside; it's too much to try to hide.

I just want you by my side. I wish they'd just let this slide, leave it all behind. Can't they see how much you mean to me?

All the begging I've done on my knees, praying to God, please, just bring my baby back home to me, it's where he's meant to be.

Don't you see. We belong together like birds of a feather, no matter the weather, it's us forever.

Some comfort would be nice right now.

But when I look around, there's no one to be found. I couldn't help but frown. I feel like a clown.

The way I broke your crown... You used to shine so bright, like a diamond in the light.

But now everything is dark, like night. I wish we had never had that fight.

Things are broken now, right? How do I fix this? I really miss you. Can I fix it with glue? I hope things aren't doomed. I want to hear all the 'I love yous.' Please don't walk away. I want you to stay 💔😢😭😓

I want you back. That is a fact, especially after all we've been through.

But I know I hurt you and I don't want things to be doomed, so I need to know the truth.

If there's truly a second chance for me and you, give me a sign to show it's true.

But all I can think about is you...

After all the shit we went through.

I never wanted to hurt you.

But now both our hearts are broken in two.

And I don't know what to do..

You left me, and I had to find my own peace.

But here I am, still crying on my knees, begging God to fix every last piece of the broken heart you left behind. I feel like I'm losing my mind.

How could I be so blind? There's nowhere for me to hide. How could I still miss you after all the things we went through? Was this always doomed?

I thought it was forever, me and you. But who knew all the 'I love yous' were never true, at least not the ones spoken by you? However, I meant every word, but you never heard the sincerity in my voice. I made my choice, that was you, but you decided to break my heart in two. So, when will I ever be able to say goodbye to you?

You broke my heart in two. So why do I still miss you? After all you put me through, yet here I am with you on my mind.

Wondering how I could be so blind.

Sometimes I wish you were still mine, but you left me behind. You made promises you couldn't keep; left me crying on my knees, wondering if I'll ever have peace.

I had to pick up every last piece of myself and build myself back up like a shelf. I tried to fight for you; I wanted to push through all the hardships God threw. However, I was never good enough for you. I loved you unconditionally, and yet you still left me. I guess we were never meant to be.

After all you've put me through. Do you really believe I'd come back to you? I know what's true.

After all the times I believed you, and this is what you do. I'm never coming back, that would be whack.

I had your back when you didn't have mine. Your 'love' made me blind, but now I see. I see the real me, the me that you buried underneath. I will not allow you to break down my walls again.

You knew the me I was then, now I've changed and refuse to let you undo what God made.

And the worst part is that I still love you

What am I supposed to do?

I can't continue holding on to you

I know what's true

My world may be blue

But it's time I move on from you.

The past is long gone

I need to be strong

I know what you did was wrong

But as I take a hit of this bong

It's hard for me to accept the truth

That there's no longer a me and you

My heart's in two and my brain's a mess too.
