Hi, I'm Melsie and welcome to my Simblr! These are my current Sims 2 'Hoods all in a tidy pinned post! Click on the headers to be taken to the separate table of contents, where you'll be able to find more information.
I have no set schedule, preferring to play whatever I feel like at that moment. There may be months without one 'Hood, or I may alternate between them.

Willow woke up soaked to the bone, outside in the middle of a thunderstorm. She most definitely regretted her choice to marry into the Bellshaw family at that point.
Do you remember the Collie from a few posts ago? The one Delia was befriending? Yeah, they destroyed one of the double beds...
But Gavin thought the sheets needed changing anyway... They were a bit worn out and stank from all of the times Sims slept in them without showering...
Usually by mid-afternoon everyone's stinky and miserable...
Ever since splitting up the Achard and Bellshaw families however, things have been so much smoother. Everyone's been able to get chores done pretty quickly, and I've been able to stay on top of needs.
It leaves the family with plenty of time to sit back, unwind and socialize by the fire!
Welcome to Year 18, where Delia is very much still pregnant...
Unlike me, who had Noah's whole personality based around being the youngest child, I think Lorra may be excited about the new baby! She's hoping for a little sister to even things out.
I feel like I should've waited until Year 20 to share parts of my spreadsheet. The end of Year 17 seems kind of like a random number, but I wanted to do it before Gavin got married and started off Gen 4... so here we go!
This is gonna get really in depth, so I put it under a cut for your convenience. I am a nerd and spend a lot of time collecting data instead of actually playing. 😂😂
Not much to say about this section, but you can see the Sims' sexualities - I don't think I've ever mentioned them before! Despite only having opposite-sex couples right now, not everyone's straight!
Oh, and I've since updated Gavin and Hugo's occupations since grabbing screenshots of my spreadsheet, don't worry!
This is how I've organized the family section!
It'll be a bit more interesting when Gen 3 starts marrying and the female Sims start to get shuffled around a bit. I'm excited to see more Sims with both a birth family and a family by marriage. Isadora and Lorra will be our first Sims with both, provided they survive to adulthood - which at this point is almost a given.
This is the really fun section of the spreadsheet - you get to see everyone's ages and their personalities. It's a bit smaller, so click/tap on the image to enlarge!
The Achard family has a pretty wide range of personalities, likely because I made Caine in CAS so his is not at all influenced by his parents'.
The Bellshaws definitely have strong personalities influenced by genetics. Look at all of those slobs! I regret not including Flora now (my deceased Sims are at the bottom of the list, I just excluded her on purpose for some reason), but she had 4 points in neatness.
This is also the first time you get to see Willow's personality! Very different from Elias and the twins, so I'm excited to see what her child(ren) will be like! Willow's also my shyest Sim in the 'Hood.
With the Choi family, you can clearly see Miju is the odd one out, with her neatness AND niceness. And then Qahira is also a bit of an odd one out with her activeness and seriousness. And then there's Taejun, who's almost identical to his father.
The Desjardins are interesting - they majority are very neat and active, with a few outliers.
And then finally, I wanted to share my 'Hood genetics - which honestly, I'm a little embarrassed about? 'Cause it feels a bit like overkill. 🙃😂 But it's been really helpful for me to see what genetics are lacking in the 'Hood for when I make Sims in CAS!
In my "Active Sims" sheet I only keep track of whether it's "Light", Medium" or "Dark" for skins and "Blue", "Brown", "Gray" or "Green" for eyes, that way my Stats sheet is a bit more simplified, but since I have GenTown skins and eyes, it means I have a lot of genetic variety for each and I do want to keep track of them!
The "Code" is what is displayed in SimPE when you look up the Sim's genetics. I can't always tell which skin is which just by looking at the Sim, especially when they're a baby, so I always check in SimPE when I'm updating my sheets.
The number next to the eye color is its dominance, which I BELIEVE I've labeled correctly. Eye colors with (1) are the most dominant, and (3) are the least. I use the Skin Palette by @letomills and the Emerald Eyes v2 from SkittleSims' genetic pack.
Anyway... Those are just TWO of the sheets I have for Kingdom of Achashaw. I have 12 in total, keeping track of things like rotations, aging, future marriages, professions, the prices of Sun & Moon items that my Sims are gathering/manufacturing within their profession... and so much more!
Honestly, I spend more time in my spreadsheet than I do in-game, I'm not even kidding!
