I want to be found guilty.

My life would not amount to much if at the end of my days I am found innocent of doing wrong, but guilty of not doing what God created me for.

We just finished having the hardest conversation with our children, "we no longer have a baby anymore." I didn't know how to tell them so I just started where my faith begins. God and His Word. We cried together. They asked questions. We tried to answer them as best we knew. We cried some more. We read "Heaven is for Real for Kids" and cried some more. Then we prayed. God brought such a peace in my heart when both our kids started praying for other moms and dads that have gone through the same. I know we will be okay. We might have lost a baby but have not lost our faith. That faith assures me that we will meet our baby one day, our child, God's beautiful and wonderful creation.

If I Ever Needed Grace

God's grace didn't just rescue me, but His grace also keeps me. With our new baby on the way and all the new changes in the horizon, the song below found me in tears in my office.

And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else.
