“Woman‘s success is the success of society and the individual at all levels. The 21th century must be the era of awakening; the era of the liberated, emancipated woman.”
- Abdullah Öcalan, Kurdish Leader

This is what invasion looks like!
Photo of Turkish soldier inside a Kurdish home in Cizre, Silopi, Sur and Nusaybin.
Kurds have been under Turkish state attacks since August 2015. Turkish special forces police teams and military are using extra-judicial means to kill people and drive them out of their homes. A massacre is being committed before the eyes of the world. All the Kurds want is their right to self determination, recognition as a nation and self-rule.
Eger terrorism anlamini ogrenmek istiyorsan yukardaki fotograflara bak!
Heval Viyan Peyman:
The inspirational woman (a hero to many of us) who fought in Kobane and lost her life for Kurdish and all women in Middle East.
“When I saw her lying on her stomach firing through a small hole in a wall in a snipers nest in the town of Kobane in Northern Syria, I remember thinking she was one of the strongest and most dynamic women I’d ever met in the Middle East.
"We stand and fight, especially here in the Middle East where women are treated as inferiors,” Peyman told us. “We stand here as symbols of strength for all the women of the region.”
Peyman said. “I had to take a stand and say, I am here, I am a human being and I will fight you.”
She’d been shot twice once in the leg, a second bullet in the stomach, but then returned to her post after two weeks, her colleagues told us.
When (Peyman) was attacked by ISIS, she fought bravely until she lost her life.Peyman was killed on April 6th near Serekaniye, a town also known as Ras al-Ayn in northern Syria.

Nobody has ever broken the Spirit of the Kurdish People.
Not Saddam Hussein, (The fifth President of Iraq)
Not Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, (The first President of Turkey)
Not Recep Tayyip Erdogan, (The 12th and current President of Turkey)
Neither ISIS…

Heval Yesilgoz | Heval Avasin Dersim
Heval Avasin was a Kurdish Student Activist originally from the Dersim region. She was known to have headed and organised countless protests to request Free-Education in Turkey and for the revision of the discriminatory Turkish Education System. Her family have stated that she was arrested countless times and on the last instance before joining the PKK and its Free Women’s Brigades (YJA); Heval was arrested and fined 4000 Turkish Liras (around £1000) for ‘contributing to the organisation of an illegal protest.’
Heval Avasin was martyred along with two other Female Comrades on the 16th October 2015 during a Turkish Military Campaign. Military Operations and Aerial Bombardments continued during the time regardless of the PKK’s declaration of a Unilateral Ceasefire to respect a Democratic Election Process for the elections, which were set to take place on the 1st November. Women sent Heval Avasin on her last journey on their shoulders and she was buried in Dersim which is also the same area she was born, fought and martyred in.
