Ohh Ahh - Grits
I believe if you seek the truth, you ain't gotta look far cause it's gonna find you.
Sometimes I wonder if it's all worth my while Xzibit stay versatile with million dollar lifestyles. I always knew it as a child growing up, the niggas that were real and the niggas that was scared as fuck. Thats why Xzibit only roll with a chosen few, you ain't really with it I can tell when I look at you.
Courage
Live life courageously. To be able of admit to yourself, what is fitting for you, and make changes towards that direction takes courage. Committing to change takes courage. To give courage is to encourage, to take away from courage is to discourage. Have courage my friends.
Touching gold.
When I was 13 I dreamed of being a professional skateboarder, I had an idea that a professional skateboarder is a person who skates for a living, I had a passion for skating and I wanted to skate forever. Therefor, I figured that, the only way for me to be a professional skateboarder was to be the best skateboarder, I had an idea that i had to be better than my friends, I thought it was about doing more flips, more tricks, being more consistent, more persistent, more technical, more complicated and being higher up in the industry hierarchy. Getting on a team, being sponsored was the first step, that was what I thought.
I kept skating, kept traveling and competing, I never thought I was ever good enough, I was never the most technical, I was never the more consistent, never the best skater, not in Malaysia, not in the world. But I was getting better, I was uncovering a type of skateboarding, that was mine, a style of skating which I was good at, a kind of skating that's refreshing to me, my skills were developing and I was getting better at skateboarding, not in skateboarding. I realize that I am different and no matter how hard I try to compete on someone else’s level I will never level up to them, they were better at doing them, better at doing what they do. The only way I could be a master at skateboarding is to bring the real me into skateboarding, my creativity, my tricks, my excitement and my originality into the game.
I used to think that the only way to succeed is to get a sponsor, get paid from the industry one way or another.
But after a decade of trying to do that, I notice that, that type of attitude is very limiting, there's only so many sponsors out there which means it's impossible to be a fit for all skaters, there's only so much money for every skateboarder to make and there's only so many competitions that one could win based on a certain type and level of skateboarding one does.
So I changed my my attitude that I could succeed by contributing me to skateboarding, by doing things my way, doing tricks my way, skating for fun , my way. Whichever way I see fit.
I fell in love with skating all over again.
I write cause you wouldn't listen, but you couldn't read..
Me
I Don't Care If you sk8 well
I don't care if you skate well,
I don't care if you know all the tricks the the freaking trick book.
I don't care if you can switch all day,
I don't care if you can manual and flip out as in a gazillion variations.
Truthfully, nobody does.
Because skateboarding is all about what looks and feels good, and to look good you have to feel good. For it to feel good you have to truly enjoy what you are doing, you don't have to love skateboarding, you just have to love skating. That is the essence of skateboarding, that is essence of style. (#topsecret)
There it is, I said it, nothing is going to make you skate better except you,
Yup, you have to enjoy it,
so stop doing a million and one switch variations infront of me,
stop posting clips after clips after clips to fill up your instagram tryna show you can do it all,
cause you know what, I don't care, nobody does,
It ain't all about the tricks young man, it not what you do, but how you do it.
its about the passion, brotherhood and joy.
Enjoy skating my friends, now i'm older I write and I skate, I wish I can skate all day, but writing requires me to spend sometime on the computer, so yes, I am faced with your videos on a daily basis, stop disappointing me with that stressful tryna-do-it-all skating, enjoy it so it doesn't look lame, stop laming the game. Peace out!
A Blissful Experience
How did it feel to achieve your dream of skateboarding in the Unites States of America, how does it feel to live your skateboarding dream, being free in a far away land and having as much fun as you could possibly want? How does it feel, I want to share, and I'm this coming months, I will try to as best as I can. Drop me a question you have regarding my journey / adventure and I will write back to you, because the best stories are personal. By the end of 2017 I will compile those questions and answers and publish them in a book called A Blissful Experience for public reading. This is something I need to get off my chest. Email me @ [email protected] or ask for my mailing address or just try to reach me through any means.
New skate video by me, produced by LUNCHBOX Skateboards, a skate brand which founded by myself and Aaron Fox in Tucson, Arizona. This is a KL X TUC Collaboration. yay!
A student, skater, adventure seeker, coffee brewer, a regular person. I meet kids on the daily basis, because I work at the skatepark, I don't get paid for going to the skatepark, but thats the place I work on myself, my skateboarding, my relationships, its my work station, its the place, I skate, its also the place that I never run out of breath. Letting loose and immersed into skating is what keeps me going in other areas of my life. It keeps me alert, and efficient, on the move. To keep everything together. Those who know me, knew that I was never the brightest kid in class, people only know me as the skater. but my skateboarding pushed me , inspired me to be a bright student, a student with clarity. 10 years of skateboarding, sponsorship was always on my mind. 10 years on I am sponsored by MARA, University of Arizona, and 3rql. 2 out of the 3 sponsors are for my academics. I wanted sponsors right? I guess already have them now. Contracts are bigger than any other skateboarding company, and took me further across the world. What more can I ask for? inspiration, to keep this journey going. Should I consider my self a pro? It doesn't matter. Skateboarding is my profession, the pursuit of my profession drives me to do things way out of skateboarding, and I am making a living out of this love, this believe. Not many people will go to the skatepark and pat a skater's back telling them "I believe in you, I believe you can make it". Thats why I keep coming back, because I know they too can make it. Its not where you're at, or where you choose to go, you can go anywhere, its about keeping the belief, when its time, its time. My brother Yuki believed in me. He inspired and pushed me to do what I love to do, He was only there to support, thats the type of people you meet from an inspiring and loving community. The skateboarding community. Inspiration is food for dreams, so go out, do your thing and inspire someone.
Just trying to be a pro.

University of Arizona, Application to be a Communication major.
In 150 words, why do you want to study communication at the University of Arizona?
I want to study communication because I dream of being professional skateboarder. I believe that by having the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently I will become a professional skateboarder. Having communication skills and knowledge will help me understand my community, which would, in turn allow me to contribute to the growth of skateboarding. I have a story to share about my journey. I grew up in Malaysia influenced by the west through the television. The strong influence by communication experts in America inspired my breathtaking journey through America. I am thankful for skateboarding and its advocates. It brought along greatness. It made the impossible, possible. It has the ability to break the barrier of disbelief in people. That is why I chose to study communication. I am here to study communication, immerse myself in the culture, to improve and expand skateboarding, to inspire and be inspired.

Me and the living legend Pa'din Musa. Pa'din has been one of my greatest inspiration since I started skating about 10 years ago. Growing up skating as a youngster in Malaysia, I've always look up to him as a real professional skateboarder, a local hero.
