There is no range of "sickness" when it comes to eating disorders. An eating disorder is an eating disorder and no matter the circumstances they are all just as serious as the next. Yes, physically, some people may appear sicker... and physically, maybe they are. But the point is that everyone is at severe and irreversible health risks regardless of appearance. And what you have to remember is that eating disorders are a mental disorder... they are PSYCHOLOGICAL. And no matter what- if you don't heal the psychological, your physical health will be in greater danger. And everyone is at the risk of death if the eating disorder takes control for too long.
