Essential oils have become a large part of some people's everyday lives, whether it is for relaxing purposes, health, or a dash of flavor in food! Migraine Pain Relief
Migraine pain seems to be never-ending most days but there are things to do that may help the pain.
1. Rest in a dark room. Bright lights only make migraines worse, so shut the lights off and relax in the dark.
2. Apply a compress to your head. Whether it be hot or cold, a compress pressed to the head eases the pain of the migraine.
3. Mindful meditation. Mindful meditation and yoga have been seen to reduce the pressure and pain of migraines by relaxing the muscles and body.
4. Lavender. The scent of lavender is one of the essential oils that eases migraine pains.
5. Stay hydrated. Drinking ample amounts of fluids will ease the pain experienced in migraines.
6. Massage the temples. Massaging the temples releases pain and pressure from that area.
7. Exercise. Exercising decreases the pressure and pain by releasing endorphins. It also reduces the intensity and frequency of migraines.
